  1. Oh yeah, I did briefly mention the 3sge beams pistons, however 3sgte, 1jzgte, 2jzgte, and certain 4g63 pistons with 22mm gudgeon pins (I think 22mm is the size...) will all fit and give a nice low compression ratio. Of course custom forged are available too! The nissan SR20 exhaust manifold is obviously topmounted with a homemade adapter out of 12mm plate steel. An aftermarket topmount SR20 manifold would be able to be fitted without the adapter as the front and rear bolts line up and the rest are a simple file job in between the SR mount holes for correct fitment. The 3tc port spacing is identical to SR20. I'll add anything else if I think of it... Cheers, Jason
  2. Haha, I'm on the exact opposite side of the country if you're in WA mate! List of parts to perform operation is not too large: SR20 turbo and exhaust manifold - can be had for beer these days! A couple of carb spacers/adapters to take the standard 2 barrel manifold out to Holley 4 barrel. 650 double pumper holley with A-hung float bowls. Some left over exhaust bends. An old school 4 barrel carb gas hat. A sack of leftover hose, hose clamps, and brass fittings. A 2nd hand ecu or msd btm for spark control. Throw in an el cheapo ebay diaphram blow off valve. Needs diaphram so it can be open under manifold vacuum and sealed under boost. Obviously this can be done rather cheaper than not if you have access to welder and basic shed tools or can call in favours! Cheers, Jason
  3. 3sge Beams pistons thrown in when I had an otherwise standard rebuild done on her (purchased for $100 brand new) to give 7.0:1 compression. Currently running 15psi boost. Holley carb mods done as per readily avialable hangar18 website. Cheers, Jason
  4. Dead easy! Cheap as chips! Cheers, Jason
  5. For heavens sakes please skip the T-series altogether! :o 1) They are an extremely long spindly axel which necks down 4 times from barely decent to spaghetti! 2) Out of just about any donor car they are likely to be in sad condition. 3) LSD's are over priced by FAR. 4) They are'nt strong enough to handle a cig locker even if you were prepared to risk being caught... My vote went to the R31 Bog Warmer as it is just able to squeaze into my celica without being cut - although with a little extra cash spent on cutting it would have saved me a couple of hastles chasing down mags! A lockrite or gunna locker which are along the line of the detroit locker are cheap and so far I have given mine a good workout on the street and love it. I would advise getting something stronger than a T series given that it appears you enjoy a spirited drive and have the horse power bug. :) Cheers, Jason Ooops! No direct offense meant to Tar above... Just my personal opinion the T series is not a decent long term solution for abuse!
  6. Hi there Slo, Epic build, its a credit to you as I've seen many fall short attempting to rescue cars needing that much love! I'll have to see this thing some day - going to Toyota Nationals easter 2011? :) Cheers, Jason
  7. Hi there Slo-030 rather small world eh!

Celica is good. Hows that rolla, I've forgotten to check up on 3tc lately?
