hey guys just purchased a 4k water pump and installed it however the new one has a smaller mounting plate for the pulley :S therefore i can't get it to mount. I was going to make a adapter plate but that would push the pulley out forwards by 2-3mm depending on the thickness of the metal i use. here are pics of the pulley on the old pump and then the new to show the difference, are there different pulleys around? will an adapter plate be alrite? cheers

few pics, whells on further inspection turned out to be cheviot centrelines not ssr mk1's :( few coats of matte black and new shiny nuts and tyres :) only done a pair atm just to see how it looks :) should be getting rwc sometime this week :D

basically just got the wheels for rwc sorted :) still waiting on conversion spacers from japan to arrive so i can run my bmw meshies on the biatch :P haha but she looks pretty sweet with a clean up, am hunting down a 7k motor or if i fail in my quest i will be using a 4afe (the conversion will be done once its registered) was gonna go 4age but i want something different and 4afe's are cheap so if i blow it up the all good :) roof rack is almost done, just need to stain the wood in oil :) but that is all for now :P

couple of updates, got the intake mani and exhaust mani off, extrctors and 2 inch system going in soon, carby was being gay (was taking a few turns to start the car and even then it was running like shit until it warmed up) problem was one of the pipes was blocked with dirt (LIKE TO THE MAXXX!)had to soak for 2 nights in degreaser to break through with a screw driver. got a sick lookin roof rack of mason i believe? gonna sand it down and hit it up with some flat black and possibly some 4cm x 1cm stained hardwood beams to give it a personal touch. gonna get all the pipes in the engine bay replaced with new ones, was thinking of a rebuild but i dnt reckon she needs one. got some sexc expensive spark plugs :P more updates to come as i find time from work to do shit :P

Where can I get and electric dizzy and coil? Brand new, would autobarn have them? Also is it str8 Bolton or will it need minor or major modification? Cheers and sorry for hijasking your thread bro :-P

very true, I fell inlove with it as soon as i went too see it, its soo a well kept vehicle and I'm hoping to keep it clean with some minor mods

hey guys just thought id introduce myself and my new beast :P I'm Nitin (yeah wierd name? I KNOW LOL) the benefits of being fiji-indian. shes an 83 corolla cs bought it today of an old chap in algester brizzy who clearly treated it like a baby, it has a whopping 109,xxx klms on it, last logged service was at 79,xxx which was 12YEARS ago, almighty 4K looks bullet proof not a spec of rust visible except for inside the doors and even then its about a quarter the size of the nail on your pinky. needs a exhaust and tires for roady so shes not legal yet :P but sooooooooooon. has these really comfy fake leather sfront seats out of a different KE70 cos the ones in it had collapsed so he replaced them. got plans for some watanabes, superlights or diamond racing wheels soon and a few other things :P i absolutely love it too pieces maybe even more than my gf (nah probably the same :P) ill let the pics do the talking cheers guys will get some engine bay shots when its daytime
