Hmm i guess this is more of a WGMG post but..
I put the Ke into a fence on saturday :( damn.
But iv already set about fixing it, I'm a self taught backyard panel beater ha.
It looks like its angry at me now though..

They don't weld diffs and cut springs to try and get other people to like their cars, its for a bit of fun!!! Its their cars they can do what they want, they spent the money, they can take the defect notices, and they can pay for damage to be fixed!!
Unless you wanted to buy the car, why does it bother you if a ke70 is crashed/ dented/ drifted?

Beige Ke70, spotted driving through the eastlands car park this afternoon. Looked pretty good, for a slanty ;) decent wheels, 15s i think and twin exhaust tips.
Raspy as all hell so i had no idea what motor was in it haha. Anyone on here own it?
Also, spotto lime green ke25 parked in Moonah, hotwires, very nice :)

Haha yeah man, well i should be at 100kw, so like 135hp or so? Its nothing special but enough to have fun in a light car hah. And Jono, sounds like a run over Grass tree hill or similar is in order soon! Or, a Tassie corolla cruise!! I know of a few Ke's that are soon to be leaving the workshops, some Sr powered, some 4age.

Ahh i looked into this for a while. Yeah thats what I'm going with, they both use the single wire oxy sensor. grab one off your local mazda 929 etc, they have the same sensor on a shitload of cars.
20 valves (edit: and 4agze's) use the 4 wire oxy sensor.
don't quote me i may just be wrong but this is how i work shit out on my engine conversion; looks like it'll work.

As of yesterday i have a pink golf ball gear knob but that isn't even half as gay as feeling a long firm hard warm thrusting slippery big exciting dildo knob stick in my hand every time to change gears

Mmm i don't see the good looks in most of those old coupe sports cars like a lot of other people do... i remember looking through some thread here of peoples favourite looking cars and just not seeing it. That first ferrari there ^^ looks pretty ugly to me hah, the second one is better, except those scoop things in the front..
But I'm not here saying ke70s look that amazing either haha.
Give me a te27 or a celica supra, must be low with good looking wheels, and i will be happy :)

I think light weight wheels on a street car is starting get a little over the top ha... you might as well do a skid on a brand new set of tires because the rubber is too heavy

Think i found the problem there reed, Bridgewater. Talk to any tassie members and they will tell you alll about bridgewater haha.
In fact, i might just chuck up a WGMG experience from Bridgewater.
So, this is back in the days when i had a 4K, found a 5 speed ke70 gearbox for sale for $100, Bridgewater. Thinking hmmm okay its only $100 and its in bridgewater, chances are its stolen but i will go and have a look.
So i turn up, there are people doing drugs out the back of this fellas house, i walk up to him and he says ohh yeah come have a look at it. So he shows me his peice of shit commodore, starts it up, redlines it straight away off the limiter, says it does a good skid and that i can take it for $4000.
I say, na I'm here for the gearbox. He says oh thats at his girl friends house, anyway long story short after i finally get a look at it after driving a good distance to her place its a fvckin front wheel drive gearbox?!?!

Well. How much did this completely not happen.
Hah, however, put a new oil pump and front and rear crank seals, cam seals, timing belt, adj. cam gears, and sump gasket all on the weekend.
I'm back in the mood to get this thing running!
2 weeks of holidays in 2 weeks time, time to get some shit done!
New date planned for having this running : 22nd of September. We'll see how that goes ha
Edit: shit i got that motor in June?? I really have been doing nothing for 3 months
