The crack is pretty bad I think, it's about 4 - 5cm and looks like the previous owner was trying to fix/hide it... I'll post a picture tomorrow maybe you guys can tell if it can be repaired or I will have to replace it with another one!

Hi guys, I read this subject and I believe that Ben-89 might be able to answer my questions... I have a T18 that has a crack in the lower radiator support, and to fix it I was wondering if I can use the KE70 lower radiator support on the T18 because it might be easier to source? also I was thinking of NOT welding it back to the car and use bolts and nuts instead and make it as a removable lower rad support!... Would it be OK to do it that way, or it has to be welded to handle all sorts of weight and pressure that might be put on it? Thanks

I'm not too keen to drive the Rolla on track cause the last thing I want to do is to crash it (and that's very likely to happen on track)... I'd drive the R31 on track cause I won't be too worried if anything goes wrong lol ... I know my KE70 is not that old school style but I think if I wack a turbo it'll take lots of its "old school" identity. But I'd like to go a bit crazy in the future on something like Panel Van (maybe 1JZ or 1UZ) and definitely on my dream car the AE86... Actually I still didn't get the 4AGE conversion stuff yet, been a bit busy on the R31 lately. I'm gonna start searching for that and if you find something reasonable please send me the link on facebook hopefully I can get them soon.

J Riftin: The plans for my KE70 is to be street registered and events car with fair amount of power and modifications... Pretty much like your AE86...so I thought this engine would be cheap back up or something I can use until I find 20v silver top and then maybe I can sell this one and get my money back... Yeah man I'm so naive in mechanic and I always take the hard way to learn so your help would be GREATLY appreciated KENut: so if I'm spending this amount of money it will end up costing me more than a good condition 20v or maybe rebuilding one. So I think its better to forget about this one and keep looking for a silver top! Thanks for your help guys

Hey guys, I found a 1992 Corolla for sale, the car been in an accident but has small port (100kw) 4AGE in excellent condition as the seller says... the car have done 235000km but always been serviced and looked after as he says... now I'm wondering what km's could be reasonable for 4AGE? and the whole car will cost me $700 Thanks Aladdin

The cruise idea sounds great… are you aware of any place with graffiti in Canberra? The only place I know is in civic and its NOT that cool. Even if we didn’t decide where to go before we meet I don’t think that would be an issue cause any place in Canberra won’t take more than 30min driving. So we can meet somewhere and decide where to go from there.. I’m free Friday and Saturday anytime after 3:00pm, so you just choose the suitable time and hopefully that can suit the rest of the guys (if anyone else is coming lol)

FINALLY we got working Rollaz :D I'm thinking Sunday 6th November 5:00pm at Belconnen mall, where the guys did it last time (Sloth's idea)…. And let us know if you have other suggestions

Still no one confirmed they're comin yet...!! But hopefully by then we get few cars!! Cause I think we're missing the group photos in this forum... and I'm most likely spraying the car after that and would really like to get few decent photos for her with other Rolla's before the new paint :(

Hey guys, In two weeks my car is going to set in the garage for a while so I’m thinking that we need to organize a Group Photo Shoot for our Corollas before that. I guess weekends will suit most of us so I would say Sunday 6th November? But time and location are open for your suggestions (before 8th November)! Lets try to gather as many Corollas (or any fat old cars) as we can and make it a fun event. Please reply if you’re keen and let us know if you have other ideas. Thanks Aladdin
