This isn't to far off now. Got dry cell battery. Waiting on rack ends and tie rods, also waiting on fan belt and knock sensor. Exhaust getting started this weekend. Couple little things to do. May be driving in about a month

Can't wait to see more of this build
-
Yeah got a video lol. I see if I can post it up. Yeah thanks nerdbat. I remember. Getting places slowly. Would love to hav had it done ages ago but money is the biggest factor lol. However I will never give up on this project. It may even take another year to fully finish including paint and sourcing rear windows etc

So after a couple weeks of ripping my hair out wondering y this wouldn't start, I got it running yesterday. Turned out I had a ʞ©$ɟed knock sensor. So car starts now.

Interior is m int condition. Except for a tear in the drivers seat and in the roof lining. No cracks in the dash either. We will find out soon if the mounts will hold up. I think they will be fine. But if not I will redo the cross member. I got some stainless steel to make brackets out of and also to fill in the gap between the cluster and dash surround. Mate got it from his work as scrap bit might need to find some thinner stuff to work with. Is fairly heavy for only a few small peices

What an I plastic welding tho lol. And yes digital speedo. Look Back a page and u will see it
-
Dash mounted in. Just got to make legit brackets
-
Interior completed again. Just need to get some flooring eventually. And mount the cluster properly. Little bit of cutting will be involved here. Along with some zip ties to hold it in. I like this photo

I started mocking up the dash loom to run power to ecu and dash. Could get past the immobilizer. So I thought I would try plug in some other Honda looms I had to see what would happen. So started with this That was a fail so did some research and turns out the immobilizer can be removed from the ecu Won't say what chip I removed but ecu looks like this now Then at about 10 Friday night I stared stripping the loom back to just the bare essentials At about 3am I ended up with this Wired everything in today. Couldn't get the dash to work and figured I ʞ©$ɟed something. So studied the pinouts one more time to be sure and found I missed a ignition 12v wire. Then this happened, followed by a little bit of froth

Look back a page. Pretty sure I put photos up on how I done it. Just some tube steel cut in half and the s2000 locating plates flipped upside down and welded all up.
-
Got some motivation this arvo so started the final fit up Clutch and brake stuff in. Winning moment. Ae71 clutch line fitted perfectly onto f20c clutch slave Underneath

Painted the front end. Not bad for a can job
-
Cheers man. Not doin to bad considering I've never done anything like this before. Having done panel beating for 4 and a half years helps tho lol. And will defs be making a video on completion.
-
Kind of. Still need to bog, prime and paint the bay. Paint cross members, control arms, sway bars and all that. Rebuild steering rack, find coilovers for the front. Final fitment of motor. Wire it all up. Refit interior. Put stronger diff in it. Make tails haft to suit. Exhaust too. Is all a matter of monis

good to see people like what I'm doing here, here are all the pics up to date ok. so made another crossmember and mounts cause i didnt like the one i had. as u can see i didnt need to cut th crossmember to clear the sump and this is how i made the new mounts like this clears without cutting took off all uneccesary brackets gearbox crossmember gearbox tunnel heaps of clearance still looking awesome thats all up to date
-
really need to get some pics up for u guys lol. anyways new gearbox tunnel is welded in. will get pics up wen i got the time
-
have heaps to update. will hopefully be able to post pics soon
-
sorry havnt updated much, didnt get to work on it for like over a month but last couple weekend ive made some progress. i wont post up all the pics cause that will take ages, but i fitted the motor while lowereing the crossmember 2 inces so i didnt hav to cut outthing out besides the crossmemebr itself. but i didnt like lowering it that much so i cut the tunnel out and now its only lowered 1 inch and the bonnet just clears by about 5 or so millimeters. so i had to cut the crossmember up to clear the sump, cut out way to much so will do another one later down the track made mounts out of 2 left hand engine brackets from a 4a and standard 4a rubber mounts took a while to work out where the center was but i found it eventually as i sed before i cut the tunnel out so i didnt hav to lower it so much ended up cutting it all the way back so i could het the shifter in a level position still looks awesome had double that clearance before i raised the crossmember back up a touch thats pretty much eveything up to date, next thing on the list is to make a gearbox crossmember

Brett ae71 panel van f20c stock at the moment also stock overrated light brown/tan white with very very little rust currently building this, aiming to be done by the end of the year however still a way to go. check my sig for the build thread
-
engine out of the panel van enigne out of the s2000 chilling out, waiting to be worked on
-
almost hav the engine out of the s2000. is alot harder then it looks. ive spent like 7 hours trying already and finnaly hav it to the point where its floating in the breeze. but can't pull it out the top cause it hits on the reo bar and can't drop it out the bottom with completly removing the sub frame. but since i don't want to grind anything off so i can still sell the shell ill hav to drop the subframe down and bolt it back up so it can roll agen

will start happening alot faster now. got the car cranking ove fine, just needs some fuel so it will go. will hopefully get the chance to do this sarvo
