  1. For anyone who might of been wondering what happened. I transferred everything into a ke70 sedan. And now it does this.
  2. Yeah it's in a sedan now. 4 weekends it's taken me and it's almost ready to drive. Just needs tailshaft, exhaust and throttle cable.
  3. This doesn't exits anymore. Took the motor setup out and used it in another shell.
  4. Searching around about 86 bumpers on e7's. Have u got any more info or pics on where u had to cut and trim to make it fit? Cheers
  5. ok so update time. after a couple months of getting things together to 4 link the van, I made an epic discovery that meant I could mount the particular g series diff that I have into the van with out having to fabricate anything. So this is how I mounted the diff, I discovered that a 1966 hr series holden diff plates are about the right size to fit the hilux u bolts through and also fit the standard shock absorber. the diff I have is from a yn85 hilux and is 1440mm wide, I have no idea if other diffs fit like this as ive never seen one. also other make and model cars may have plates that fit like the hr ones do. I had to drill the holes out a bit bigger to suit the larger hilux u bolt. then I fitted them on to see how that looked as u can see, the diff plates fold up the side of the leafs making the ubolts to long, I made some spacers to fill the gap, but u could source shorter ubolts from somewhere or keep cutting the thread further up the u bolt if u had a die set. now there is a mount to fit the shock just like factory, repeat for both sides and ur g series diff will be mounted with out having to fabricate anything.
  6. No updates unfortunately. Waiting to get the money together to 4 link and coilover the diff and get an exhaust made.
  7. Car back on the ground and rolling, moved it to my new house so will start the finishing touches in the next few weeks both cars sitting in there new home.
  8. Wrapped the headers. First time doing it. And hopefully the last. Bit of a mission to do Engine back in for the last time. No reason to take it out again.
  9. Cool. Cheers man. Will defs have to do that with my one.
  10. Finally some progress on this. Only small but still pprogress. Engine bay was painted in 2pac white. Look alot neater then the can job I did at first. Cleaned up the master cylinders. Bit of black and ali paint to make them look new again Fitted up brake and clutch stuff. Cleaned up the engine with some ali cleaner. And cleaned up and painted the engine crossmember Before I fit the engine in I wanna wrap the exhaust with some wrap. I can't get the headers off with out scratching everything once the engine is fitted.
  11. How did u get the rocker cover all smooth? What process did u have to undertake?
  12. I think the clusters look awesome too. I didn't bother with the ac or anything tho. I was going to then decided against it, mainly because I couldn't be bothered making it all fit lol
  13. Hey mate. Just so u know. F20c will run without the cluster. Just might need to wire a couple of the power wires up. I've used the cluster in my f20 swap but a mate hasn't in his f20 datto and runs sweet.
  14. Hey man. Still havnt fitted the engine back in lol. Yeah made another one. Ill try find ya again. Been more focusing on drifting my r31 lately.
  15. Brought them a while ago off a guy. Brought 3 pairs off of him and these was one of them. Also 15x10 steelies and same size superlites.
  16. How the car sits now. Bogged the areas I needed to and all etched up
  17. Holy moly. Havnt updated this for a while. Diff and flipped leaves are fitted, tail shaft has been made. Engine is currently out of the car atm as I'm painting the engine bay properly. Is all in etch primer so paint tmoro hopefully and then fit it all up next weekend. Just wating on one thing to complete my coilovers and then will be able to take it for a short drive. Then the last thing to do is an exhaust. Will upload some photos soon
  18. Not really guys. I did acquire a g series diff. Swapped my set of superlites for it. Flipped the leaves on the weekend so can fit the diff now. Will bolt straight in to the pano which is a bonus. Hopefully dot that during the week or on the weekend. Then only tailshaft and exhaust and away we go :)
  19. Bit of a photo dump Car lowered. Not official how it will stay. Only got one leaf in the back. Just had to slam it for when I get the tail shaft measured. This is only temporary. Just awaiting headers. Waiting for a mate to finish them Thermo on moded as71 radiator Rad hoses. Standard s2000 ones with about 500mm cut out of the middle Just need the headers finished of which are being done now. And then same dude can come measure for tail shaft. Then can take it for a soon round the block after a service.
  20. Headers are off getting finished. Then the same dude will come measure for my tailshaft. Hopefully today or tmoro. Then a service and first drive around the block
  21. Havnt done to much to this since last update. Car would start so been trying to work out that problem. Turns out these engines need the o2 sensor to be working. So plugs where fouled. But sorted that and just need to get a me o2 sensor. Also brought coilovers and a strut brace. Coilovers need to be built but need a couple parts for them first. Getting headers finished of this week some time too.
  22. flipped the radiator and cut and shut the filler, so now the outlets are on the correct side of th engine only few small things to do. main things to get it to drive is exhaust and tailshaft
  23. Thanks guys. It's taken longer the I thought but has been done on a minimal budget. Been going for about 14 months so far. Done everything myself
  24. Ajps parts arrived today. Fitted them up and finally put the rig back on its wheels. yes I know it needs wayyyy more low lol
