Yup it sure is a mess! That sounds like a good plan, I have the a 3K-c I can strip down for the Cam and maybe even the head if it would work once I get the flat top or O dish pistons. Are 3,4,5k cams all interchangeable? The 3k has a 75mm bore and the 5k is 80.5mm will this slight difference cause any issues in the combustion area? or is it just a bolt on and go, the 3k head I have has 10thou off it and is in good condition so maybe that's the best bet. So the 202 solid lifters will slot straight in with the A12 push rods? Obviously I will get the lifters refaced too with the new Cam. I appreciate your help, like I said I haven't worked on a K series for 16 years!

Yeah and ones broken too, dodgy as! also the little lug locator on the front of the cam is all cracked and bent. Those lifters are Hydraulic aren't they I haven't pulled an engine down for 16years!

Hi all, I just picked up a 5K for my ke30 and have started to dismantle it for a rebuild, so now i'm trying to work out what I actually have here. The push rods have been cut and joined together, why? maybe due to a high lift cam? still has the hydraulic lifters. The cam has 298R stamped on the front, maybe this is the degrees duration? sounds like a lot if it is? It has the D dish pistons in it so I thought it must have a 5K head on it but from what I hear the 5k head does not have much of a combustion chamber in it, mine seems to? Any ideas?

Hi all, I've been trying to find some window seals for my KE30, have managed to get the outer door seals with no problem but can't seem to find any door window seals, you know the ones that fit inside the window frame. Looking for new ones, has anyone got any ideas where to get them?

Silver series II, rebuilt 12a engine extended port (Mister Mazda), clutch, reco radiator, 2.5" exhaust with flows, new plugs/leads/coils, all fluids changed, 15inch performance mag wheels, new pedders shock/springs, new front bushes, slotted front discs, tints, aircon, electric windows/mirrors, cd player, reciepts for heaps of other work done. The car was owned buy an older guy prior to me who spent 7k on it over the years, still have reciepts. Mechanicaly sound, no smoke or issues, no rust at all, paint tidy, tidy engine bay and under car no leaks. Interior all original with overrated dash, door panels could do with a tidy up and drivers seat a little worn apart from that very good condition. Great example of an RX7, driven on the weekend only, handles and drives very nicely, I am upgrading to another rotor. $7500ono A RWC can be arranged if required. Will consider realistic offers.

Just rebuilt my 3K, 10thou off head, extractors, factory twins and now trying to decide on a cam. As the last time I built a 3K was about 15 yrs ago i've pretty much forgotten what cam grind I used back then. What are people using? running a auto box so idle has to be reasonable, and not looking for a screamer nothing above 6500rpm. Also just moved to Melbourne so looking for a good Cam shop here, suggestions?

That sounds about right, is there a particular model sigma lca I need? year xx-xx? chassis #? I have now read somewhere there are two types, a two piece and a single piece arm.

Hi all, I have just fitted some wheels and tyres to the rolla and been for a wheel alignment. Toe and Caster are all good but there is 1deg 0f positive camber on both sides so it handles badly, has anyone had experience with adjusting this I know there are no factory adjustments so what have people done to there ke30's? ideas?
