I'd prob say battery, best bet is to start the car and check the voltage a cross the battery with a multimeter, I'll try n check mine for ya today for comparison, mine did a similar thing when the battery went

Just wanting to add that this is not a thread of who knows best, just sharing information, so no one takes offence or starts flaming, also looking to purchase an fit a hot spark kit for the 55 in the next few weeks, hopefully it fits as would be a great option over the 5k dizzy

The way I was taught was if the power wire goes to the coil then its inductive if it gets fed by a capacitor then its a cdi type system, as I think the capacitor in the points is just there to take some of the load off the points when they break to stop it jumping across when it breaks

Its settled then Also pretty sure the 5k dizzy isn't cdi just inductive

Also might still give this hot spark group a try when I get my next bonus, just to see if it fits and if all works well maybe we could organise a group buy as its like $30 shipping alone, so may be able to sort something out with em

Can u run a MSD 6A CDI module off the 5k dizzy at all? Also is there any contact info?

Cool finally got some he sigma arms, so to fit them its just grind down bushes and replace ball joints cause there stuffed?

Possible air leak

i wanna run some neg camber on my KE55 Corolla but as i have found i can't use camber tops as the strut tops are to close to the strut tower and i can't bend the struts as my ma61 rims are rather close to the strut i found a thing on lengths from other cars what do people run and recommend? Model - Length - CT Dia RA40 - 300mm - 12mm TA22 - 300mm - 12mm AE86 - 300mm - 12mm KE55 - 300mm - 12mm KE70 - 290mm - 12mm XT130 - 310mm - 12mm (RT132 too?) MX73 - 304mm -12mm MX62 - 365mm - 12mm GE Sigma - 330mm - 12mm S13 - 350mm - 14mm also what is involved in fitting these, esp the S13 ones?

Hey all this is prob gunna sound like a silly question but is it possible to fit all the advance weights off the 4k dizzy in an electronic dizzy from the 5k been reading that the 5k dizzy doesnt have much advance as designed for a van Cheers Todd
