bonnet fitted both fitted had to rip out the hood lining to get at the bolts for the roof rails, so the roof can get respray

i dropped my tailgate and bonnet to my painter to do the undersides, so i can then fit them back on the car, prior to a full 'top of car' respray

wasnt too keen on getting struts, swaybars etc, til i figured out what engine i was going to go. but then i saw this on ebay fo cheep..! genuine Carbon Fibre Front Strut brace

and after install, still needed a drive a bit to help seat it all, and it lowered a bit more

so, all the while i was looking into getting the ride height sorted, checking BC coilovers, Ksport, etc, til a guy on the ozfoz forums suggested trying his mates STi KYB struts, with Kings superlows, for cheap, before going to coilovers, as i was quoted 1.2-2.5k for coilovers so i met him at caboolture BP, looking like some dodgy carpark dealer, and raced them home to fit that following weekend cleaned, oiled and tidied them up comparison pic between the 2 guide to 'truck' height before install

mate, i would love to find out about those engines, if you have any advice would love the torque of the 2.5
