hey mate got a quick question on my 55 the left side door handles on the outside when you open them they get stuck n don't come back down, is that due to a spring or something inside the door or?

yeh was a rippa find $350 it totaled to, and yeh thats fine mate ill take them off for you tomorow, so you can get them if you come round tomorow night.

ok i got the car today!! its a ke38 wagon n the 4kc runs a treat, but i need new battery leads coz the ones on it are rooted and held together with duck tape haha. anyway she runs great, smooth as anything took it out for a drive up the road n everythings fine alothough i stalled n it wouldnt start back up due to the faulty battery leads! so which then lead to my girlfriend in the driver seat while i was behind pushing :( haha but it was a good exercise!. the only reason I'm not gonna do this car up is the fact the rust is REALLY bad!! (massive rust hole through out. but the plan is to basicly take everything out of the 38 and put it in the 55, its got all dash peices, all seats, original wheels with the center caps, front doors which i needed and most of all it has a funckin front end a guards woohooo no need to be lookin for them no more!! and yeh woz I'm pretty sure you can have somethin for rust repair ill drop off this weekend, :) oh woz do you have an engine crane i can borrow in the future when i start to pull out the engine? also i need some help knowing what battery leads to get and there actuall name haha (the leads that connect to the battery itself) cheers jesse pics below!!

gday all, while ive been lookin for some guards n shite. i came across another car wont say what it is, thats a suprise! but its got its got a 4kc engine 4 speed manual box n everything ive been lookin for such as exterior stuff, also has interior! the engine has i think 270,000ks on it so I'm guessing thats alright for an older car? but anyways I'm hopefully going to be picking up this misterious car tomorow, so stay tuned to find out what it is!!! I'm funckin excited! cheers jesse.

the passenger door :(

update. ok so the left back door is completed and back on and lookin sick!! so now that ive done that door i decided to look around the inside edges of the others and the front passenger door has been hit hard with rust around the edging!! so I'm trying what ever i can to fix it, if my magic doesnt work I'm gonna have to go on the hunt for a passenger door. ill put a pic up of the passenger door where its been hit the most!

yeh i may have to mate, I'm only lookin for the passenger door now as ive fixed the back one, ive spoken to the guy about the 4k engine his sellin me for 100 bucks, he said his pulling it out this weekend so hopefully ill have it this weekend if not the following week, wrapped as!!

the door engine bay beaver panel and fuel pump

update time :) my mate came round this weekend with his welder so i finally got to fix the door n filler it in.looks nice now :) i went to josh`s ( he owns the ke36 pano) n picked up a beaver panel for $10 plus he gave me a fuel pump, pretty wrapped :) also done a 1st layer of white in the engine bay, dunno whether i wanna keep it white or just go black, any ideas?

shits starting to happen now!! finally!:dance: gday all, today i grinded back the rear quarter panel where the bumps n dints n shit is, i started making it as smooth as i could, so tomorow its supposed to be a nice day so the plan is to bog it up :) my mates also comin with his welder on the weekend so where gonna fix the rust in the door, it was quite a suprise when i saw how much there was when i grinded it back :o plus I'm picking up a beaver panel off josh from (josh`s ke38 build) my girlfriends dog at her dads :laff: hahaha he loves a good feed!!

oh sick! :) thanks man update today ive been grinding n sanding back the back quarter panel almost done n gonna get ready for some filler, also pics to come :)

hey mate, I'm building a ke55 from the ground up, bought it as a rolling shell, any way quick to the chase, youve got the front bumper whats the bit under that called? like the chin bit? its hard to find one when you don't know what there called haha cheers jesse

ok so ive just bought a 4k engine the guy says it runs when he puts fuel in the carby so he rekons its the fuel lines and fuel pump thats f*%ked and also an auto gear box for $100 I'm wrapped finally the car is in progress, i think I'm picking it up after easter but yeh really excited to start some engine work!!

update! so today my mate came round n weve fixed the handbrake! at last don't have to put bricks behind the tires haha we also fixed the steering box, there was a clunking noise goin on pretty sure thats done and dusted also :) so at the moment I'm lookin for a job coz i needa start gettin some parts on the car
