Anyone know if it matters if I convert it to 4k manual or do I have to get rwc with the 3k then put the 4k in, if that makes any science haha? Cheers jesse

yeh got it for $850 plus the 55 shell but he wanted 1500 at the start so was a good deal in my eyes haha for got to add, it also has monroe shocks and what looks to be a newer exhaust as its clean as.

gday all this is my new ke30 which i bought off dpb (daniel). reason i stopped the ke55 build was i came to a stall and needed brake lines handbrake lines fuel lines hard lines, all the shit which i couldnt be stuffed lookin around for them n would probably cost me abit to buy them new. so yeh ive got the ke30 which is a 4 speed auto with a 3k, the autos slippin gears though which isnt a problem coz I'm going to put a 4k manual in, the bodies in pretty much great condition only rust ive seen so far is around the boot seal which wont be a problem to fix, and a little bit of surface rust on the roof which i sanded back last night and sprayed primer over for the moment, interior is immaculate apart from a couple of rips on the drivers seat. so the plans for it are: take out 3k and box and put in 4k manual body work (fix rust spots, sand the car back with wet n dry, find a colour) and wheels gotta have nice shoes! which I'm thinkin ssr starsharks, wantanabees, got a few ideas of wheels haha. but yeh for now just focusing on body and engine conversion. heres a few pics..! hope you like it if not i don't care coz i love it!!

Ok so this is the end of the ke55 I've now swapped it for a ke30 2 door, so I'll be makin a new topic tonight :)

I've decided to swap my ke55 + wheels+ cash for a rolls on the better side, as much as I wanted to finish this it's gonna end up Being to much of a pain coz I need fuel lines brake lines, so not this weekend but the one after I'll be picking up my new rolla which I can't wait to get, stay tuned to find out what it is :) Jesse

so at the moment the engine is almost ready to be swapped over just gotta take out the clutch cable and accelorater cable, I'm now decideing on whether to buy an engine crane which I'm in need of or just hire one for a few days. cheers jesse!

gday all, got some good news!! last couple of days me n my mate josh have been gettin the ke38 engine ready to be swapped into the ke55!!(can't wait!!!) yesturday/night we took off the drive train, diff, and rear axles, and the gearbox bracket mounts thing and stripped the interior, struts, sway bar, steering arms, and lower control arms.\ today we cut the front off for some reason, easier access to the engine i think haha but anyway i took out the electrical looms and we finished stripping the inside, (shes almost a bare shell now haha) heres some pics of the progress we did the last couple of days :) thanks all!

yeh i was thinkin 55's a little high, but i went itno supercheap n for them to order one in is like 60 to 70 bucks haha

update. engine bay has come up awsome in black, the roughness of the rear back quarter: ive cleaned it all back its now all smooth, gonna do another fill of bog and then sand it back straight :) this week ill be gettin the engine ready in the ke38 ready to swap to the 55. so far so good :) jesse P.s if anyone needs parts for there wagon let me know.

yesturday i bought a set of wheels off a guy, there old skool ATS german wheels 14x5.5, scored them for a clean $50!! wasnt sure how they'd look on the car but there actually look pretty sweet! tomorow ill be painting the engine bay black and thats progress so far.. cheers all
