what design /measurements for the reverse cone bro ?
-
thanks for the info guys, ill be getting them made at the coast, and yeh it wont be done dodgy exhaust shop press style, I'm unsure about my exhaust ports will have to measure them and its in a ke70 bud :) and i was thinking of going mild steel to avoid cracking
-
personal preference.. ill be going for 4-1 rather than 4-2-1 so i don't need to worry about 1-3 & 4-1 being connected. however some say 2.5" tubing down to a 2.5" cat then 2.25" the rest of the way. and the tube length at 28" does that sound good ? @littlered could you measure yours (length) and give me a rough idea how long yours are ?
-
iv done a fair bit of research, most headers that are cheap have a fair few shitty reviews, if I'm going to spend the money i might as well do it right. I'm currently running those shitty trd copy ones. most proper tuned length ones cost over 1k anyway so might as well get them built ?

hey guys, I'm getting some custom headers made up (tuned length) with mandrel bend and exhaust (with hi flow cat etc) i just need some help in what size tubing i need and the thickness ? they will be 4-1 headers, however I'm unsure to what size/thickness to get for max performance. this is what my build is 4age 20v toda over sized high compression forged pistions C/R 12:5:1 H beam forged condrods ARP head studs ARP crank studs Kelford 194-C racing cams Toda racing adj. cam gears Full head reco port and polish Supertech 1mm over size valves Supertech racing vavle springs Tomei crank caps TRD 0.8mm multi layer metal head gasket TODA timeing belt 1zze Coilpacks ITB'S (trumpets) thanks :)

yeh iv emailed fat fitment i heard they do it. see what they say, my lil bro had some bloke from the coast come do his e30 beemer and did a mad job so ill see if he does it still,
-
haha i have wheels that fit, but not enough dish :( haha iv got money to spend, the thing is its overdue for a respray etc .. so i wanted to get this done before. i don't mind paying a lil extra to make her look better, I'm not gna spend cheap money and get a cheap job, one thing iv learnt is you get what you pay for. :) thanks for the input lads :)

mmmk theres a bloke selling weld on guards for 150 they are 70mm to fit 15x10 -5 .. but I'm a noob when it comes to welding, as far as i can tell its alot of work cutting the current ones out (inner and outer) then re welding... is it a bitch for bolt ons aswell ?
-
nice, did you flare the fronts too ?
-
yeh i think my ride height is around 75-80mm... i will be running - camber on the front. and i am leaning towards bolt ons on the rear, but unsure whats what on the front in terms of clearance :/ :(
-
yeh I'm either pumping or getting bolt ons for the rear, but the rims i want to get only come in 15x8 zero and 15x9 -10... so i take it ill have to pump the fronts too ?
-
unsure if this goes in general mechanical. but anyway.. I'm just wondering what wheels fit on stock front guards ? I'm looking at getting 15x8 0 offset ... just wondering if they will fit fine and clear calipers etc... I'm getting 15x9 -10 on the rear but gna flare/get bolt on flares for the rear ... thanks :)

hey peepz, iv got a haltech e11v2 wired up to my 20V ke. haltech provided me with a 16v base map and said it would get the car running however my tuner said it doesnt work and he would have to custom make the map. does anyone have a haltech e11v2 20valve map ? if so please email it to [email protected] any help would be good thanks guys
-
hey guys iv got a worked 20v silvertop ke70, will be running a haltech e11v2. are there any good tuners in BRISBANE who have worked with 4age's ? (101 performance ʞ©$ɟd me around so not going there). iv heard pits on the goast is good but prefer dynoing here saves me forking out shit loads of money for a tow. Thanks :)

changed ecu getting E11V2 !!!!! ill edit post now :)
-
The HALTECH E6X is easily programmed with an IBM compatible laptop" From the pdf regarding the ecu
-
i have not started to talk to the ecu yet. reason for base map is I'm getting her wired up this week and if i get a base map for the silvertop 4age, it will save the tuner much time... and me some moneys :)
-
from haltech website regarding e6x ecu Please note: This Haltech program is designed to work with early DOS Operating Systems. In some cases it may work with Win95 or Win98 but if you still have problems communicating with the ECU you will need to do the following. Reboot the PC, just as you see text appear on the screen press the F8 key. If caught in time you will see on the screen a bunch of prompts. Select “Startup in MSDOS mode”, once done you can run the Software.
