  1. redwarf, iv crashed with an open diff, and iv drove with this locker for a while, and the locker hasnt caused me to kick out like the open one did on many occasions ...
  2. yeh after i put the motor in it was running smoothly, now there is a fair bit of clunking plus it locks randomly at times :( havnt been driving lately, gna open the diff on sunday (dayoff work) have a look but I'm pretty sure its gone :(
  3. the reason why i don't want an open diff, in my old car i had one, it kicks out randomly when turning and i crashed it once, you counter steer and it can kick the other way randomly... so yeh.
  4. A locking differential, differential lock, diff lock or locker is a variation on the standard automotive differential. A locking differential may provide increased traction compared to a standard, or "open" differential by restricting each of the two wheels on an axle to the same rotational speed without regard to available traction or differences in resistance seen at each wheel. A locking differential is designed to overcome the chief limitation of a standard open differential by essentially "locking" both wheels on an axle together as if on a common shaft. This forces both wheels to turn in unison, regardless of the traction (or lack thereof) available to either wheel individually.

  6. @altezzaclub. would a diff shop be able to do the filling of the teeth ? sounds better than just welding :)
  7. yeh its a 4age 20v pushing 132atw. and no dave i didnt ʞ©$ɟ the diff :( hahaha when i got it of the old owner the diff was already munted :( but now its worse, more jerking,screetching etc.
  8. hey guys, silly question iv got a worked ke70 with a locked diff, the diff is completely ʞ©$ɟed, looking to for a new diff (locked pref.) what should i get (good ratio's etc) nd i can't afford 2 get a LSD so locked will have to do ... cheerz
  9. hey guys, I'm currently running a razorback ecu on a 4age 20v in a ke70, fair bit of work done to her, she is N/A. i was told by mates etc that if i got a proper aftermarket ecu like a haltech or adaptronic etc i would get much more power if this is the case does anyone know what sort of ecu plus where i could get the wiring done ? (local tuner ? etc? ) thanks guys :)

  16. dude srsly i pretty much bought the SHELL nothing more, the motor was rooted as fk everything was out of shape, so many rust spots and dings interior was munted etc, iv got my motor in etc done a wee bit on the interior and some exterior now to cut and weld the rust out and bog respray etc !

  21. its the intank one thats playing up the little black box looking thingo ! its making a shit tone of noise now and its cutting off at times, i replaced the external pump. what intank one should i get ?

  23. had the same issues with all mine :( just opend the door panels and used cloth tape and taped it back on the rubber bit :) cheapest way :) been working fine for 3months now :) yay !
  24. google samq, he supplies coilpacks plus coilpack adpater plates, easy and simple to install, even a dummie can do it :) then with your wiring if you don't know what to do get a pro :) lol
  25. did the motor come with a wiring loom or you using the existing one ?
