  1. noice... these are the ultimate sleeper manual or auto?
  2. looking good... very nice wheels
  3. thanks guys thats the stocko stripe... i'm going to follow that stock layout/theme eventually when i repaint it, but the engine/drivetrain is coming first colour scheme options: bright canary yellow with black stripe gloss black with white stripe light green (as seen on the 2006 Aurion) with white stripe
  4. nope... halfway between newcastle and gosford but i can see why you would have made that mistake - it was last registered in Qld mitch - glad you're taking a liking to the 35. i love the wheels too. got them from ChrisGT last year - he sold them after he got some nice dish rims
  5. thanks... yeah i'm in love :) its a little rough in the body, and a 2megapixel phone camera in poor fluro lighting at night covers over a lot of blemishes... but still, i'm in love
  6. passenger side:
  7. This has been a work in progress since early 2006. Finally its looking like happening. I've been planning something along the lines of the ChrisGT ke35 for over 2 years now. Stay tuned. For now i'll post some pictures of the ke35. Should be getting started on the project within the next month or so. Donor car pictures soon, and hopefully soon after that, project pictures! PRESENT: 1978 Toyota Corolla ke35 hardtop (with a nice little 4k & 5spd gb) There's a little bit of rust, faded paint and a few dents, but it is a 30 year old vehicle. Interior has been swapped from original turd brown. Now it has a charcoal carpet with cream vinyl seats and door cards. Centre console has been removed and I'm keen to hear from some people about swapping in the ke70 centre. Front springs are lowered king springs (low or superlow, not sure). Rear leafs are yet to be reset. Some of you longer term members will remember where the wheels came from :) FUTURE: Engine: AE101 4AGZE (with SC14 - eventually) T50 gearbox TA22 diff (hoping to put an LSD in) Interior: 300zx or WRX seats re-trim existing rear seats and new front seats in white/cream leather or vinyl oil pressure/boost/tacho gauges in place of the stock radio There's heaps more i want to do but i'm tired and i've probably forgotten something. Feel free to make suggestions Mark (apologies for dodgey phone camera pictures)
  8. AMAZING chris... well done looking forwards to seeing this on the road keep an eye out for my new thread
  9. what kind of performance do you get, compared to EFI? anyone heard of this being done on a 4AGZE?
  10. so you're saying the ke70 ones won't fit?
  11. hey guys, hoping someone has the expertise to answer this. if i buy a set of aftermarket seats that have been fitted succesfully into a ke70, will they bolt directly into a ke35? if not, what can i do to make it work? thanks... mark
  12. beautiful... its a much straighter body than the one i just bought how much did you get it for in the end?
  13. looking good chris who's carrera??? BTW - i love the wheels you sold me
  14. dude... i love it i'm bound to be checking your thread regularly as i'm looking to do pretty much the same conversion in the next 12 months or so what did you do with the old wheels? if you still have them, and they have decent tyres PM me
