ok cool, yeah will be doing mild work to the engine. I want it as a daily not a race car. just collecting as much info as possible before i get it done. would you reccomend any grinds? cheers mate.

would a 212 waggott grind be too much for the 4k??

Hi all, just wanting to gather some information on cam selection. i have a 4k motor with a webber 32/36 exhaust and extractors and a mild head recondition. spoke to a bloke today at waggott cam and he reccommended a 212 grind?? just wondering what grind i should look for, i use the car as a daily and i want to get the most out of her. with a nice lumpy idle of course ;) cheers Nathan

Hi all i have a 1979 ke55 with a 5speed k50. Just wanting to know what i can do to this motor to get more power out of it? like exhaust, carbys, cams and things like that. i am on my p plates in NSW so i am somewhat restricted to swapping the engine. Any Ideas?? thanks heaps Nathan

Awesome man!! yeah upgrading the 4k would eliminate the whole p plate situation and engine numbers would match up. Do you think it would cost roughly the same price to upgrade the 4k as it would to replace it with a 5k? cheers

Back again, got myself a nice little k50 gearbox now just waiting for a 5k WTB 5k!! anyone know of any around? haha cheers
