  1. Nice bike Trev - I like the old FZR's. We should catch up for a ride one day. I don't live too far from Ippy

Gday, here is 'Bruce' the rolla. Purchased for 2 cartons of beer. Have given it a bit of a clean up. Not in bad nick considering what I paid for it.
  4. What do the rims look like - I may have some
  5. Thanks. Wasn't really looking at going nuts with the suspension. Was only going to drop it down low so as it wasn't still Grandpa spec. So i was just looking at lowered spring options. This car won't have a lot of money spent on it as it's only a second car / run-about. The whole car only cost me 2 cartons of beer. Cheers
  6. Cheers guys. Picked one up yesterday. Cost me more than the car. I should get it going on the weekend. I have another question. Will struts and springs from an AE86 fit an AE82? Sorry - new to the whole Corolla thingy.
  7. Started life off as a pretty normal 1993 ZXR-750. Bit rough and a bit tired. Cleaned it up a fair bit to get to this stage. Transformation begins First Incarnation Then, new paint – cheapie headlight – and a one off belly-pan I fabricated More Work – Out comes the 750cc motor And then shoehorn in 900cc’s of goodness out of a ZX9 And now, as it currently sits. More to come though + Can’t forget the other - 1968 Honda
  8. Have a little fuelling problem with my 86 AE82 Corolla Hatch Needs a bit of help to get started by pouring some fuel down the carb. Run's fine until this fuel is spent. Have taken off fuel lines while cranking over but doesn't seem to be pumping fuel. Question is. Where is the fuel pump on these? in the tank? Cheers, Jed
  9. Gday - Stephen (jed) here. Live at Flagstone Creek - Just down the hill from Toowoomba. Have been looking out for a cheapie second car. Just purchased an 86 AE82 - 160k - for the princely sum of 2 Cartons of beer. Needs a bit of a clean up, some tyres and a fuel pump (I think) and its ready for the road. I thought i'd join this forum as I am a memeber of motorbike forums and know that there is heaps of info and help to be shared. Cheers, Jed
