    the 84 has 1.6 litre and the 82 has 1.3ltr

    ohk so ive got an auto 1983 3 speed and i also have a 84 manual corolla 1.6 ltr and could someone please tell me the exact steps n stuff i would need to do to change the 82 to a manual, please help?

    ok so I'm after some advice jst got my KE70 82model on the road fully stock wih 3 speed gearbox 1.3 ltr, as yous already know its slow and ive got a AE71 84 model manual thats not road worthy able. but i was thinking of puttin ae71 engine(1.6ltr) and the manual gearbox into my ke70, would this be easy enough with many mods or would parts and stuff woulda i have to change around????

    Thanks heaps towe001, the oil seems good and someone also said it might be the vacum hose where abouts is it??? that i can check...

    so i jst picked up new rolla 3 speed 1982 when i get to bout 80km-100km it revs really high then kinda drops or i put my foot flat down n it stops, something wrong with overdrivee I'm thinking???
