  1. strangely those pics are from the ke10 owners manual! i like to say its proof that girls like corollas :)
  2. jamie - I'm over guy sebastion now, i have a new and slightly more heterosexual obsession with kelis! fook is right about speedflow fittings, once you go black you never go back, or something along those lines ;) i do think they are ricey on my car because i don't need them at all (same with oil cooler) but its hard to fight the addiction, yes there are more fittings to come hehehe. just the 1 thermo fook, what you are seeing is probably the little factory fan shroud that is brazed (?) onto the back of the radiator... oh and just to clarify - i know this is all overkill and the car will not be particularly fast... :) but you just can't beat that weber induction noise ...
  3. heres one of the pics (don't know what i did with the other links!) engine bay 90% complete in this pic *edit* here we go just painted prior to rebuild
  4. oh dear, i typed up a reply with links to the pics i uploaded but IE decided backspace means 'go back to the previous page' arghgggh! i can't remember exactly how much i paid but i think about 600 for the carbs + manifold with no linkages or trumpets etc. turned out to be a very expensive exercise, i think getting them on the car and complete would have cost me just over a grand :)

  6. if we are talking jap cars i would say old skool is anything that came out with chrome bumpers, and if its modified then it would have to have mods of that era (ie big carbs, big cam etc) big rims are a definite no no as are big round mufflers signs that your car is old skool : - optional tacho dash - optional carpet - optional fake wood trim - chrome grille - chrome bumper- leaf sprung rear end - optional twin carbs and so on. true 'old skool' for me probably stops just before 75 (ish)
