  1. yeah thats correct except the change is pretty much in the middle of the production run... early axles go from 8305 to 8505 with drum brakes or 8305 to 8510 with discs late ones go from 8305 to 8704 all have discs thats info for the jdm models according to my info all 4age ae86s sold in oz will have disc rears the 4a and 4ac will have drums. but i understand oz new ae86s are extremly rare? either way if i can get the model and frame numbers i can double check we get the correct one :)
  2. for all of you gagging to get your hands on a NEW GENUINE TRD LSD for your ae86: can do for $1260nz at this stage looking at being $1300nz delivered. just have to confirm that postage insurance will cover the cost of replacment if the lose them! can also do other models such as ae82 ae101 etc etc price can vary but count on $1300-1400 deliverd for most models email me to place orders!! (will need to know model and frames, there is a change in ae86 rearends) [email protected]

  4. its big, not impossible, certainly a lot easier than alot of other things!! when i get started properly ill be sure to post pics etc.
  5. hehe we did :) lol yeah in my haynes manual it lists kerb weight for the hatch at 825kgs and 875kgs, depending on the version. but theres a hell of a lot of work i have to do.... apart from making the 4age fit i have to weld in a complete new floor in the rear, the stock mounts for the shocks are nearly horizontal! so i gotta get a floor from the sedan version which have wicked turrets for the shocks, having done that i gotta fit the rear end from a 78-82 gemini sedan, the chevette ones flyapart at 100hp and ill have more than that!! then theres suspension, eventually ill make up some tubular a arms to build in some adjustability, and the brakes, apparantly piazza ones are an easy conversion. so heaps of fun ahead! can't wait to dive in head first. but before i can start properly i gotta paint my sss bluebird and get rid of it! again to all you wanting parts, please please email me...
  6. hehe nicks got exspensive taste!! see here for TRD online cataliuge: TRD home page and translate with this: magic webpage enjoy the engrish!! yeah the chevettes are cool little cars... with some mods... stock they are slloooow (1200cc) but the hatchs weigh less than 900kg in full road trim...... they were quite handy little rally cars with a twincam 2300 lotus engine :)
