  1. that rolla out there this weekend is bloody fast!!! it practically has wings... and wow Shane its umm water to air...
  2. nah twin spark does a bit for performance but not much, (higher power ignition does the job better eg. msd), the head looks like but its the 2 valves per cly that makes it shit. having said that, its been along time since I've seen that car, blue Celica with a sports seat, and i have never once seen it out on the road since it was all fixed up. can't remember if it was a 3T-GTE or 4T-GTE they came from TA63 Celica, TA63 carina, TT142 Corona GT-T & GT-TR, 120kw 160hp @ 6000rpm, Double-row Chain, but limited sized injectors at 295cc's, turbo being a CT20 and produced between 1982-1985, there is still better engines out that are easier to find parts for and cheaper bang for buck that'll fit in a TA22 so i couldn't see any difference with a 2T like your doing http://www.bigflea.com/corolla/index.cfm?ContentID=111 if your some what interested at all... http://users.chariot.net.au/~stmezz/3tginfo.htm
  3. some one up here as a TA22 with a turbo carona engine from japan, twin spark, twin cam, 8 valves, goes alright, just i don't like the engine

  5. nothing wrong with that gear knob its typical Jap drift fashion, sure it stupid or crazy, but crazy is part of the image some want
  6. not exactly looking on info to see how the motors done, i've got a fairly straight forward idea that it slots in, loom and fuel i will have no probs with, as i belive the silver version was from a AE101, but I'm more interested to see whos done it on this forum preferly the blacktop version as thats what i will be leaning towards, since it has the 6 speed and how much of a pain would it be to put the 6 speed in or would it just be as good to use the blacktop 5 speed? more interested in stuff like mounts, cv's and shift linkages also front brake upgrade anything simple "like Z32 4 spots on a S13" for example
  7. 4A-GE* 4= represents the bottom end version A= the engines series - G= twin cam wide angle 45 degrees or more between the intake and exhaust valves E= EFI
  8. comparing to a SR20 or CA18 they are alot more fun would be kick ass if it was in RWD form tho
  9. hey nothing beats a boosted nissan well probly a boosted EJ25, tho on ya site tim ya got the Evo VIII as being V6 (umm magna?) i always thought they were 4G63 four cly turbo with front and rear torque split and YAW control AWD?

  11. yeah kno what ya meen i kno i couldn't be F#$KED doin the work (suspension wize) that i'd like to do to an S13, but if i can pick up one cheap enough theres some part i kno of sittin around doin nothing i could use and for what it would cost me i could be bothered doin the work. i have considered the blue one still makin up me mind. but its got a 20v not 16v so i can't use the parts, plus i kno from what he's sed he replaced the brakes wid discs, but hasn't sed if hes swapped the TC suspension into it? i'll probly make up me mind about it tomorro or not, but i'd be ripping off the kit puttin the stock shit back on and paint it white... i just hate that blue n put my black 16" on if they fit cams fo sure and maybe some sway bars but yea that seems to much stuffing around, tho i kno what ya meen its getting to be a good buy and me being fussy is making me look like a dik lol... my uncles got a windscreen for it too, n tyres peice of piss... tho if i'd buy it would you want the kit ella? sell it to ya dirt (F@#K'N) cheap?
  12. samebloke from boost, T4S, Drifting, Toynation, RSLC, MRT, and where ever the heck else you've seen this username lol, subie lib wgn is what i got which would be half my silvia when i sell it, but until i do I'm looking for a AE82 twin cam (or AE93) got some ideas i'd like to try out tho they seem to be pretty f@$king hard to find... darwins sometimes usless
  13. no i agree if you set the tacho to v8 config it'll read less rpm my point is you won't get four sparks per revolution also i can see i've stuffed up in a 4cly you get 2 sparks per revolution (not 1 like i sed b4) v8 you'll 4 per revolution
