    No one seems to have any rwd ka24de engines. I found one place that has a ka24e from a navara, which isn't a great motor. But they wanted $1100. Seems cheaper to just do a sr20det or ca18det :/

    Now that I know it can be done legally, I will have to ring a few wreckers to see if they have any d22 navara wrecks. Not much power difference between ka24de and sr20de. Ka24de has more torque mid range for better drive-ability. Will post what the engine prices are etc and I'll go from there.

    Awesome. From what I can find online, ke55 coupe weighs 920kg? I thought they were more like 840kg. Either way, ke24de seems to be a legal conversion in regards to displacement.

    Has anyone done or heard of this conversion? Engine comes in RWD form from a 2wd d22 navara. Also from a bluebird (U13) but that's FWD. Is there somewhere that covers the legalities of engine conversion in QLD for road worthy purposes? Cheers
