  1. I'm a builder working in Kyneton, but looking for cash weekend work around Frankston. As I need it for the 1ggte conv. And the wife takes all my other money. Can help with house damage done by drunk mates!! Also if you need a bit of advice on reno's. :y: PM me if you need my help.
  2. I have found that the heater core fills up with crap if it has been sitting for a while. It is easy to flush out:- find the two smaller hoses going through the firewall one the left side of engine bay. Take them both off, attach a garden hose to one of the pipes (try and get a house clamp on it too). Turn on the tap and flush it for 10mins or so. I found that a big lump of crap came out. This probably wont help the overheating, but it may help the radiator from filling up. also this is the first place to start if your heater stops. Good Luck!
  3. Also if someone could let me know who is charge of thos area that would be great.
  4. I'm new to rolaclub, i live in central Vic. My project is to remove a 3k and in its place put a 1ggte in. My biggest problem other then pyhsical room is the handling and brakes. I have posted on a few other forums but it would be easier for me if you use this one. I am due to start in two weeks, I have a full maechical workshop at my disposal and have talked a mate into doing it as a cash job. How ever the more know and idea's i can get the better. Cheers!
  5. I'm new to Rollaclub. About to put in 1ggte 5 speed into a ke30 chasing brakes upgrade suggestions. Cheers! or any suggestions about the whole project really.
  6. Hey everyone, Name: Pete Ride: 78 KE30 Color: Blue Live: Kyneton, (striaght up the calder hwy towards bendigo) Project: Remove 3k auto put in a 1ggte 5 speed. With all the goodies like power steer, race brakes etc. Car History: One elderly lady driver. Only damage is a small hole in carpet and the front bumper looks it got caught on something and is pulled out slightly. Looking For: Knowledge on how to get all of this to fit. So far my thoughts consist of modified sump and angle grinders. Any other ideas? May spot me in frankston soon moving there in the new year.
