Could This Be The Worlds Most Famous Ke70?
1G-GTE KE70 replied to 1G-GTE KE70's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
you guys (guys on toymods as well) aren't too observant are you... hehe look around -
yeah i've check absolutely everything. the only thing that doesn't work is the hazards but i'm fixing them this arvo. it should be sweet!

I'd love to get a 4K-C and just get it cleaned, polished, rebuilt, worked to the shithouse, balanced, and then rammed back into a KE70 to have a full tough 4K. Fulli Sik

i was under my car for a few hours with about 30 cans of brake clean cleaning all the shit off from under my car and checking for oil leaks and 'broken' things. couldn't find any thankfully. I reckon it will pass pretty easily.
-
nah man. lpg burns hotter than normal petrol. the cooler the charge the better. haha but yeah everything works on it except for the hazard lights but i'm getting them fixed. like the indicators work but the hazard light switch does nothing. and it goes pretty hard :D:):D

fixed washer jets. no oil leaks. all lights working. all doors open lock and unlock. all windows work. what else do i need to check? i'm pretty sure everything is fine.

I've cleaned up the engine bay a fair bit since these photo's. well actually I've cleaned up the whole car.

4 weeks is fine. I know about the washer jets and obviously am going to get them fixed, but if anything else i haven't noticed doesn't work i don't want to have to go away then come back. but yeah I'll call that place tomorrow Grim

that's the only thing i can think of that is wrong. but like if car height or something is wrong do they reject it? because my car needed a new sump it has like a big roll cage style bash gaurd around it that may be a bit too low to the ground (i don't think so but maybe) do they check that? I just want it passed and then I will fix all the stuff later.
-
will they pass it even if like washer jets and small stuff like that doesn't work? I'm pretty sure everything works except for them... I hope.

I have the money to get my car registered next week. I live in Brisbane (Moorooka). Does anyone know where I can get a Roadworthy and Mod Plate from? I bought my car in NSW and they don't have mod plates, you just need to carry the engineers certificate around with you. My brother is a mechanic and he has inspected it and it's all safe etc. But if there are small things that don't work that aren't dangerous (i.e. washer jets for windscreen etc) anyone know anyone that will tell me to fix it but still pass it? I mean everything is legit and safe and i'm pretty sure everything works (except for those damn washer jets haha). but yeah I've got the engineers certificate and I'm getting a Gas certificate this tuesday arvo so does anyone know where I can get a roadworthy/mod plate from? I think i repeated myself about 300 times then. Thanks guys

Next week my car will finally be registered. I've got the LPG check lined up for Tuesday arvo. Then Wednesday I've got a 'roadworthy' lined up and most likely getting the mod plates done as well. I'll bring it into Queensland Transport on either wednesday arvo or thursday. *cost to date* Car $4700 Exhaust Gaskets $90 Clutch Slave and Master Cylinder $100 Turbo Rebuild $350 Oil Catch Can $50 Front Tyres $370 = $5660 wo0t I can't wait. i don't think i could stand the high profile of 215/65/15 but yeah they are so easy to get and cheap. but yeah it'll be at the next drift meet. everyone with a corolla should get out there and rip it up. i can't wait!!!
-
they are 15's the stud pattern is different from front to back (4x108 on the back and 4x114.3 on the front) celica front struts etc and alfa diff. so i'm stuck with the 8's on the back and 7's on the front. i might get 215/35 on front (obviously not stretched but i'll leave the front for daily use) and stretched out 195/40 or 50 or something on the back.
-
hey can i get those pics as well. [email protected] thanks tuff ke. I'm still trying to figure out what size tyres i should use I have 7" rims on the front and 8" on the back. i'm thinking like 205/35 on the front and maybe 205/40 on the back. but maybe even 195 for the first time i go out so i'm guaranteed lots of wheelspin :insane: :D :D
-
dammit.... was it the drift meet just past? my brother went to that but i didn't ask him if he saw it. my stupid car still isn't registered. I need money so someone buy my pioneer stuff (in the for sale section) but i promise i will be at the next drift meet. hey tuff ke, what size tyres did you use on the back for drifting? thanks mate :insane:

no ecu... it's on LPG carby not injected. but not like the dodgy petrol carby. lpg carbys are better.
