Yes, they take H4's Thanks! - speed_daddy I did a quick search about ADR approval and ( i might be wrong) but it seems that as long as you have ADR approved bulbs (like H4) then its all legal. I do not know this for sure though.

call up Burson's auto parts they can hook you up with some, I bought some with a staff discount a while ago from them. They source them from another store, don't remember what store it was, hopefuly they will be honest and just tell you where they get them from

yes. yes they are. when i lowered my ke70 i did the fronts first at a mate's place cos i knew they'd take longer and the fronts took so much longer than expected that we were too drunk to do the rears by the time we got there. long story short, i had a lowered front and a high rear for about a month after that. \m/

has anyone done this? i'd be keen to know what housings screw straight on in place of the old sealed beams so i could just go to the wreckers and rip them off something else

cool! |blink| i got given a free ke70 interior set that was sprayed with the septone black interior spray and have accumulated 2 cans of the stuff over the years but it just scratches so easily that i never bothered putting it in or using the spray on anything... i wonder if there's an easy way to attach the black vinyl from the door cards onto the interior plastic panels....

Hi guys I've heard a rumour that H4 12V 60/55W bulbs can be put into older cars such as a KE70 using an "after-market housing" for the bulbs and want to know if its true. Admittedly, I probably don't understand enough about electrics to know whether this is a stupid question or not, but just wondering if anyone knows of a bulb housing that goes straight in for a KE70 and houses H4 bulbs, since i've heard this from a guy at an autoparts store and i'm not sure whether he was just completely off his face on trying to make a sale. if its true it would be pretty good. Looking to upgrade KE70 headlights any suggestions aside from this welcome. cheers Rodney p.s. not really keen to do the dual headlight upgrade unless it magically turns out to be the cheapest, easiest way to upgrade ;)

p.s. any mags look bad when the car isnt lowered. have a look after its lowered again before you make any accusations that the wheels arent good nough looking.

my opinion: don't paint the jellybean mags white or red or anything crazy like that. its either going to look cheap or like you're trying to do something ricey with a car thats too old to be rice, or a sick sad combination of both, and look like the car is worth $50 including a full tank of fuel. my rule of thumb is generally don't color something if its already black or chrome. especially if youre doing a car that's matt black you're better off leaving steel as steel rather than colouring it, defeat the purpose of having a matt balck car i reckon, to not leave steel as steel. keep it simple! like the interior panels, clean, no bullshit. its your car

Hi guys I've had a problem where you can smell exhaust in the cabin of my KE70 thats been there for years and very subtle but getting progressively worse. Without stripping down the whole thing and looking for a hole, does anyone know of a common place for a hole or something to occur on a KE70 that makes this happen. It was happening before and after an exhaust upgrade and engine swap so stuffs me if there's an issue with the exhaust somewhere between engine and exhaust tip, its just strange. cheers, and congrats for the KE20 that won the vote, its truly awesome.
