yeh it was good. sorry i had to bail i had my stupid brother ringin me sayin he can't get to work. i felt like hittin him in the face haha. good to finally meet you matt (teddy) and all of you guys. hope more come out on the next one. i ended up gettin pulled over this arvo and they checked over my car. only found the rear axel seal leaking 1 point and 75 bucks. pretty stupid. I'm writing a letter because i got pulled over 2 times last weekend and they checked over the car and didnt see it. shoulda been a warning. i woulda got it fixed tomorrow anyway.

WOO got rego tuesday now on the road. but today realised my clutch is rooted so now its off the road atm with the box pulled out. going in tomorrow after we finish work.

was there any pics of the cars and the trip? i wish i went but the car wasnt ready for it. wouldnt of suited the theme if i rocked up in a jeep.

thanks mate. well acrylic isnt easy to do. it can have reactions and like i said how its a pain to sand it back to bare metal and primer it again and so on. if it all works out well i reakon just need like 2L satin black and 4L thinners also to clean the gun out at the end. oh and if you wanna primer it i only got a litre. but had to get more when the paint had a reaction. so yeh 2 litres i think would be 60? i got it for 40 because we had a trade discount. primer is cheaper again. 4L thinners is like 20 bucks. so about 80 bucks would do it all. but ended up costing me about $140 because i had to get more paint.

Well i havent updated this for ages. the car is now all ready for roadworthy beleive it or not lol. the last couple months ive just been gettin things to pass roady.. and the paint.. that god damn paint was a pain in the ass. the grey primer all worked well. then the first 2 coats were good. so then we put one more coat on it and oh god didnt that turn into shit. the left side gaurd and door cracked and if rubbed it went back to bare brown. so that had to go back to bare metal and then primered and then coated and thank god it was good that time as i was sick of buying paint every week. I'm hopeing to drive it tuesday if all works out well. well heres some pics over the last couple months to now.

far out its cheap down there. up here just 3rd party and no fire and theft i got a quote for $240 with RACQ.

ah ok thanks. i now got everything for roadworthy i think. gettin rego early next week and I'm thinkin about getting 3rd party insurance you pay by the month. i know it ends up expensive but least next week i ll have some money left lol.

oh watever it means when you have to transfer the name of the car into yours.

yeh i don't drive without insurance. umm so i got 3 days this week to get it on the road as thursday I'm at tafe and friday its anzac day. so anyone know how much rego is for 6mths and how long does it usually take stuffing around with all this stuff. (insurance and rego)
