hey got a question that has been botherin me 4 some time now. are the whitewalls on tyres painted on, is it a really strong sticker lol, i got no idea how they r made. what is it? they expensive?

expensive??? "If the PCV valve is gummed up the car won't idle as good as it should, as the PCV system acts as a controlled air leak." i started it up 2day and it wouldnt idle properly, it would jus start to chug then stall. i will definately give this a go

ok then, well i had an ex-mechanic check it out the other day that i know. and he said somethin bout gettin the bores re-done or somethin, i can't really rememba what he said. there is a slight oil build up inside the carby but nothin real bad.

well there is no oil around the pcv valve, it is all around the top of the carby.

righto well i will take a look at it this weekend and give u the updates.

hey i have jus recently noticed i have oil coming out from my carby and ruining the air filter. what this mean? is it bad?

so are those swithces in the door jams?? and how do i fix them or do they have 2 b replaced?

i put a fuse in the lighter space today and the interior light worked when set to ON but not DOOR.

yeah righto then. power dosent really worry me at the moment, i jus want it 2 sound anythin but boring with out stabbing exhaust.

hey thanks heaps rolla boy, thought i might jus throw in a bid and c how i go. they look in awesome condition too. one thing i wanna kno is if you can put low profile tyres on 15" rims?? if so, are they more expensive then normal tyres??

do u have any other mufflers beside the last one? are your parts really good brands or not? cause i don't really want top of the range parts, jus somethin 2 give it more grunt

well thats gonna be a pain in the arse 4 me cause i have pretty much re-moulded my rear gaurds with bog. so if I'm desperate for 16's I'm gonna have 2 break all that up, shit!! lol

new indicators arrived today so i got stuck into it and made some new holes 4 it, i not goin 2 show the holes as they r kinda rough but the indicators sit in there nice and tight. they still have to be wired up etc. Old recess is still to be bogged and sanded. car is now completely primed and painting is slowly getting organised, jus tryin 2 find some good prices on a set of extractors, a 2 inch system and thinkin of puttin on a 3 inch dump pipe if i can find one. if anyone can tell me around what their exhaust cost that would b pretty handy as i don't really kno. i was thinkin around $300 all up. and what other things would i need 2 include so its not too loud with a 3 inch dump pipe?? mmmk then, well i will prob only go 16" max, as usual its the cash prob that puts you back a bit. are chasers that hard 2 find and expensive??

yeah well i rekon i will can that idea, I'm thinking jus 15" skyline chasers and that will look pretty ol skool, plus the chasers will prob b a bit cheaper then buyin brand new rims n tyres :y:

ok then, it would most likely be tail lights because they don't work when i brake, my parkers at the front come on when i brake lol.

righto thanks, will give it another check up today. the fuse box inside down near the bonnet lever don't have a dome fuse in it. unless there may be another hiding fuse box i don't know of....? :lolcry:

yeah it is a 4K-C motor. there were 2 wires connecting to the thermostat so i tested them both cause i didnt kno which 1 2 actually test, for the wire on top i hooked up a test light and there was no reading on the gauge but the test light was quite dull, for the wire underneath i hooked that up and the gauge was reading in the red zone and also the test light was dull. i let it idle 4 a couple of mins beforehand and then gave it a bit of a rev. so because it read a value i gotta replace sender but which wire do i go by?
