nah i don't have access to a mig. plans are to get the car to a panel beater to get the rear quarter fixed. going to get all the bog knocked out and new metal in the quarter where needed so as MINIMAL bog is needed, if any at all, also need to get new bits for the sill panel and the bit behind the arches, today i might take some photos of the problem areas so as people can see how bad it really is, lets say i was pulling chunks of bog out the boot thou. lol. door handles and window trims and al that will still be chrome and i deffinately think it will look much better irl than the photochop as thats a rough estimation of the colour as there isnt much i can find on the internet i just know it looked hot on the lexus we had at work. its got a like multicolour flake sorta look to it as well. might consider gettin the rear vents chromed if need be to break the colour up a bit. here is a bit better photo-chop. still pretty crappy thou.

Yeah lol just a really bad photoshop job :wink: the gutter chrome will be near impossible to find but the strip under the windows is chrome :yes: will be much the same as it is now only the window chrome will be chromeish again there is no scoop and there is no spoiler and it is a much darker colour.

so the 55 should be something liek this colour. not quite this low around a 2inch drop at the front and just under at the rear, probably wont have redwalls either. all in the working stuff out phase. plan to do the boot and engine bay black have been working on the window chrome strips one snapped, so i glued back together, have bogged them up and sanded them back and given em a coat looks pretty good will get some picks up sometime have only done the two shorter strips for the front window so far, had issues with the 72 that were wasting my 55 time lolz. colour code is 1E0 is a toyota/lexus colour that was on a car in work. looked mad!

got to christen the new ride, will work something out and let everyone know =]

yeah i like the middle of the night cruises too i woulda made it if the cruise started later but didnt sort my car out till at least 4 i may organise one myself soon been meaning to do so for a while.

really thats unfortuante planned to be there in the te72 but then it had issues and i didnt seem to resolve them to aroud 5 or 6. stupid cars. but i do still love her, even if she is arrogant :sob:

yeah ok, this car hates me. the new starter the solenoid is f@$ked, the old one. well magically started working again whilst bench testing. so the car is once again alive!!! cheers for the people that helpt!!!

lol i see the second guy didnt read much. i took the old starter to a spare battery had with the voltmeter, gettin good power and whatnot. kicked once but couldnt get it to kick at all again, then took the one out the car and nothing clearly will be swapping it over for another on monday. don't know why i didnt think to do that earlier :sob:

so ive got myself a t-18 and wednesday it wouldnt start, so i got the jump pack and somehow she started so i got to a servo to get petrol and once again dead as this time jump pack did nothing. so i eventually got a push start to work and was there drove fine volts showed fine and everything. put the battery on charge all day and at the end of the day same issue so once again a push start to get home. so i figured it must be the starter motor as thats the only logical thing. changed that over and alas the same issue still. now the issue is, i turn the key and ABSOLUTELY nothing happens. no cranking can't even hear the starter motor making any clicks or whatever. not that technical minded with starters so i don't really know what to look for. anyway i have checked the power to the starter from the battery and it has 12v then checked the wire linked to the ignition to engage the starter when you turn the key and that also has a voltage around 12 also. ive also tried by passing the ignition and running the second cable straight from the starter and doing the dodgey put it on the battery with the ignition on and once again not a single noise. i am completely stumped as to the issue i mean it could still be the starter if i got another siezed one or whatever but what is the likeliness of that honestly. tried the ol hammer trick but very tricky place to get to so that did not work either. only way my car starts is via a push start and once started runs flawlessly. PLEASE ANY HELP IMMEDIATELY IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

spotted on kings road: yellow kesev windowed wagon - with some form of spoiler on the top of the tailgate/roof. looked alright, bit rough.

yeah i don't go out most fridays as i work near 10 hours a day mon-fri, and like luke said i just like to sit home and relax!

it don't look brilliant but fresh paint and it would be a million bucks, looks pretty straight from what ive seen also.
