Murd 55

here is a pic of my car i got on way home. will add more later.

well as alot of you may or may not know. this car had alot of work done on it before i bought it from my dad for my 16th. (work was done for my birthday present) i had alot of photos from when all this work was carried out but i lost them all through a format or something but i have finally got them back so i will possibly post a lot of pics here of the rust removal respray ect so sorry for those with slow internets. it may take a while!! (ive resized them all to forumish size to make it better on bandwith) Before and after pics are in first post. here are some in-between pics once again i apolagise for the amount of pics in one post. but i felt necessary to have my progress shots just like everyone else =] next pic post should be a photoshoot i might jusst have to do before i go back to school!!

DAY 4 got the cut and polish from the door to the ass end and part of the roof. got the things put back on like mirror, air vent, body kit and such. fixed the bumper and resprayed the corner that was damaged. sanded back and quick set putty'd the spoiler for the front and has been sprayed now ready to go on tomorrow morning. looks like i will be coming home tomorrow if all goes well which it should as all thats left is attaching the spoiler. and when i get home. boy does the car need a GOOD wash. country sucks :wink:

that is bloody nice!! generally also not a fan of the 70/71 but that looks sweet!!

the wheel arch isnt perfect but then again none of mine are perfect. lol. but seeing as it was basically redone with fibreglass and bodyfiller it is very freaking good!

DAY 3 we have paint 8/ haha the boot lid had some rust cut out also so we painted that as well. so now we have silver and clear and my car is one step closer to done. we blended the paint down into the door and up to the roof. so tomorrow i think my gramps is fiddling with getting the spoiler on the front and painting and repairing that as it wasnt the best quality. and then thursday final cut and polish =]

they wont pay it 8/

if u read I'm pretty sure that i wrote. paint tomorrow, spoiler/splitter which ever you like to call it wed, and clear and cut and polish thurs 8/ EDIT: i didnt write it lol. so now you know.

DAY 2 (part 2) as promised here is part two. the car has now been primered and rubbed back with some quick set putty to get it all smothed out and after a little work tomorrow it will be ready for colour. also got some of the rust outta the boot lid and fibreglassed and body filled it ready to be rubed back, primered and sprayed tomorrow.

DAY 2 (PART 1) these are some images from what we have done so far today but we should have the primer on by tonight. will post a day two part 2 later tonight =]

haha more than a 4k under the hood :fuzz: also want diff rims and possibly lowered.

yeah u may as well be speaking a diff language. (i don't know car stuff so i have no idea what ur on about :fuzz:) sorry.

haha i don't think i ever plan on selling her. ima find me a friend who will show me the right way and direct me as to further upgrades more in the mechanical way and bring her up to her true beauty =]

DAY 1: so today i rocked up in Port Broughton at about 1ish after the 2 hour trip from my little town of Salisbury :fuzz: hahaha and already in about 2 hours work we are at this point.

haha yeah =] was my first cruise was good. huge but good. next cruise is JAC in feb =] and id like to announce that i will soon have back all the pics i lost from when the car got rust cut out and resprayed.

yeah but i was newly on my p's and its my word against his i don't see it going well for me. so i go up today to port broughton to my grandpas for the week got like $200v bucks of shit to fix it the best we can.. (the day after i got hit i got stuck between 2 buses r us busses and almost had a panic attack.. i was still rather shooken up from it.. but i did get back in my car str8 after and drive off. and didnt cry till i got to my mums and just cried about the car not myself.. yes i love the car more than me :fuzz:) so while I'm gone i will take some progress shots and see if i can get back the photos from when it had its makeover and i should be on the net there to keep up with the forums.. and thanks. i agree that the spoiler suits the car i just think most people arent into things that are different and out there, I'm not ashamed of anything on the car (minus that stupid scoop =]) and it is gorgeous in my opinion (the one that really matters =]) sorry to hear about that firefly company. ill be sure to add them to my hated bus company or avoided bus company list :bash:

haha outta them pics my car is in 4/7 :fuzz: haha yea was a pity there werent more corollas. woulda been good. but soon we will have a ROLLA cruise and have us a awesome timee =] not that today wasnt good, there were alot of people and alot of nice cars and corollas werent right up there. :bash:

unfortunately i did. had some people laugh as leaving stop points as i drove past them. but soon. it will hopefully (fingers crossed) be perfect again.

kit = cordia get the new spoiler on the front wen i go away tomorrow for the week dent = bus (buses 'r' us to be specific.. asshole merged into me earlier this year) but tomorrow i go away to my mechanic grandpa's in borughton to get it bashed out and fibreglassed =] then it will be my beautiful girl once more. =] and for the next cruise i wont get dirty looks for havin a dented car.

must admit i didnt see the seca. and i don't really recall the xr8 either but then again i was kinda just hanging round my car and didnt wander much. got lost few times thou. but that what happens when a person from north goes south. in the end it was good. my first cruise and i can't say it was a bad one!

yeah we saw ur primerd car at semaphore. lol'd at the fact u said u wouldnt come then you did. was deff alot of nice cars and it seemed the most popular was the spiffy gemini. not that many rollas. was me, few e7's primer rolla (:fuzz:) yellow 30/35(?) nats 20, a GREEN 20 (? for my not knowing the model just by looking from afar) and i don't know that there were many others if any. edit: bold - read further it was a green 20 :bash:
