what is your clutch Mechanism type??? if it is hydo, then the pushrod probably isnt long enough to separate the plate or there is AIR in the system, probaly need a good bleed....

yep they might be but i have hydros and they will be fine for what i want to do with them... plus 8500+ rpm should be well into the next gear!!!

probably not but all i want is for the motor to pull up to 7500, don't need it to go any further.

I would also like to know the cam specs for a 5k that I want to pull from down low (Motorkhanas, Khanacross, and Hillclimbs) but wont die at 4500rpm for the use in Autocross??? thanks :S

I have a 5k motor with a head that has Electrolysis around the head gaskit, and pistons that are oval (just a little amount of piston slap). would I need to hone the bore back to a useable shape OR bore to the bigest sized pisten that will fit in the block? what cam would i need to use that will pull from idle up to 6000 rpm - 7000 rpm??? how big a cheque would i need to write out??? :D or will it be easyer to fit a BIG port head on top
