if you are mates with an engineer you could (i know that it is illegal but still) cut the standard corolla rim and add a piece of metal in the middle and weld it back together (to get the width). like the old speedway boys use to do...
i have heard on the grape vine that you get EA (due to they are lighter than other ford springs) FORD falcon rear springs and pull your current springs out and cut them to size.
that will give you a stiffer suspension but not shore about raising the overall height but it is a very cheap way of getting stiffer springs!!!
one of the best autocross tracks in australia and one of the top in south australia at my back door (15km away but still) .
Motorkhanas,
Khanacross,
the occasional autocross

hmm the RPM level seems a little low... mine the rev limiter is set to 8500 and it whips round the that like it was christmas and pulls all the way  but other than that it is VERY nice!!!
I put KE55 front end (engine X member, radius rods, sway bar [custom of course], control arms, etc) in my KE20, and i recon that it has added 3 to 5 degress of negative camber
the next plan is to cut three control arm and make two BIG ones!!!
Definitely a creative one, young tiger...
if u have LOTS of time, money and the machines you could get a 454 chev big block...
and cut it in half and have a 227ci four cylinder beast.
The Stock Bore is 4.250" and the Stock Stroke is 4.000", that would Definitely raise some eyebrows. and then strap a blower on it :moon:
What do u think about the ideas for a 'SPECIAL LICENCE' for 4WD owners???
my thoughts are, that it is a load of BULLS*#T and the pollys should spend there money on something WORTH spending it on... like better roads :)
I have a 1988 subaru vortex turbo 4WD and was wondering if i can use the discs and calipers of it and put them on my corolla to make it a Disc brake rear end?
A mate of mine runs BP ultimate 98 octane stuff and he has advanced the time shit loads further than any normal person would and it doesnt ping.
I run Slops...(thanks to SLOPS RACING) mixture of LRP, 98 octane and unleaded shit, but it works
If the people from adalaide are familar with the SARC rally series then they would of seen a curtain (cough cough) datsun (can't belive i just said that) driven by Gary Brown, rattled a lot of 4WD rally cars, and wernt they shitty!!! :P
due to the fact that the starter motor has to stay in the same spot. r u able to take the bellhousing off, to shave some metal of the back of the bellhousing and the front of the gearbox to fit in an adaptor plate in between to upright the gearbox?
In general, a pump in any circumstance will run better and last longer if it can PUSH the liquid rather than trying to suck it. so somewhere in the back near the tank will be the best thing
