  1. its pretty much trial and error. Install your ae71 pedal box, and youll get some sort of an idea where to drill. You can try drill from the inside but i doubt the drill will fit. i installed the pedal box and got a punch and punched a little dent from the inside and then looked in the engine bay and where the dent was i drilled. then you just extend the holes a little bit till it all fits sweet

  4. Yeh ill take all your words for it will have to figure out a lift to supercheap I instantly regret my decision of pouring my gearbox oil onto my tyres in attempt to make my 4k rip a skid
  5. I'm pretty sure it should be okay but i don't want to do this and regret it later on. I am doing an engine conversion and need to top up the oil in my T50 gearbox i have no gearbox oil at home but have shit loads of LSD oil. I also don't have a car to pop down to supercheap to grab some more. Will the LSD oil be fine to use in my gearbox? I know gear oil is practically the same but not sure about LSD cheers
  6. soon I'm getting the 5k bottom end for sale off here, this is what i plan to do: 5k bottom end with 2lt mazda flat top pistons, balanced crankshaft, rebuilt (seals and bearings) 4k head with heavy duty springs electronic dizzy 32/36 weber headers-straight through pipe what figures will i (approx) be looking at? 50rwkw?
  7. I wasnt asking for you to make my mind up for me was i. I'm asking what option i would get the most power out of. and asking people that have done these mods before, how much power difference there was and if it was worth it. cheers

  9. yeah but ae71 bits are taxed hard these days. finding a pedal box wont be easy. neither will xmembers. 4ages are a lot more expensive too. i don't have much money to blow
  10. i want a bit more oomph out of my K motor. A stock 4k made 47kw out of production. I'm deciding what i should do.. simply bolt a 3k head on, 32/36 weber and be done with it... How many KW would this increase of the stock 4k? a vvery noticable amount? Or i could salvage the wreckers and get a 5k bottom end, bolt a 3k head onto it, the weber carby and some extractors. Would this be about the same power as a stock 4AC? maybe more? What can you recommend? thanks
