  1. the car is good mate ..... have been roll racing it pretty much every month this year except one. still shocking and surprising people :D :D :D yeah ill give that a go ..... i think for those that aren't technically savvy though it was a real D@#K move by photobucket .... i mean if their subscription was reasonable most people would probably pay but not at almost $500 a year.
  2. stupid photobucket .... changing their terms and no longer allowing external free hosting .... they want $499 a year ...... i think they just broke half of the forums on the internet with this change of theirs ..... i have just moved all my content so all the pictures should now be working again.
  3. Been jumping on roll racing as of late .... Fri nights races resulted in 11win & 3 loses. Loses were rx7 2nd run... Buggered the start. EVO 9 th33vo again buggered the start. And the sr22ve 180, this was my first run & even with the tweaks there was even less traction than last month. I think the cooler conditions.... So I had to tweak my setup post this run.... I wanted to go him again but never got the chance to. Here's the videos EVO 9 330KW - Worked VW Golf R - EVO 9 280KW - Old Ute - R33 1st run - R33 2nd run - EVO8 MR JE73VO - 67 LSA Camaro - A45 AMG - EVO6 00PLEZ - EVO9 TH33VO - RX7 1st run - RX7 2nd run - SR22VE 180SX -
  4. Looooooooong time since ive been on the forums. The car has been on & off the road over the last 2 yrs tinkering & its now back and running. Here's the video of it on the dyno & sheet.
  5. yes they are aftermarket ...... the stock setup isnt titanium ..... wish it was ...... for any big power setup's for increased revs above the stock redline the stockers experience valve float. the eyelids are aftermarket and mostly are available on ebay hey charmz ..... yeah its had a few mods added  ..... what about ur beast ? still got it or got something new? mate do it ..... its an experience ..... but u'll only do it once ..... lol lol ...... yes it gets a bit expensive ..... lol
  6. long time no see fellas ..... sorry been pretty busy with life and yeah the car had to sit on the side line while i had other stuff going on ..... So got a little busy over the weekend and finally got the wideband going and got rid of the little deka battery from under the bonnet and replaced it with a larger odyssey in the boot. Pictures with and without the carpet ...... i just need to get some covers for the terminals and work a way to protect it in the event i put something in the boot so that it doesnt get knocked around. Dropped the 2nd o2 sensor in plus mounted the gauge in the dash cluster
  7. awesome drive today guys ...... here are the pics i took
  8. hmmmmm .... well y not ..... ill bring the sportivo out for a bit of a spin ......
  9. The sump is a moroso product ..... that being said it isnt one of their regular's and was custom made for a shop in the US who now sells them to the public ..... as my sump isnt listed in the moroso products catalog. I guess your best bet would be to try the custom fab avenue via moroso since moroso does do custom work as well .... see the link below. http://www.moroso.com/catalog/categorydisp...p?catcode=11109 cheers Bill
  10. ahhh finally found them ..... what it looks like inside the sump .... baffled and gated FTW :bash:
  11. well managed to get it down in the 12.6 territory by the end of the night again on the last run but once again absolutely pathetic 60' times ..... 2.2 for this ..... funny i ran a 1.97 when i ran the 12.6 last time so if i can manage to get all the areas of running right (launch, gear changes etc) i might get my low 12 ...... lol .... traction was not my friend again that nite..... i am getting better at warming those tyres though .... lol .... was just a damn cold nite. anyway here are my video clips of 3 of my runs [email protected] - - YAY Finally some smoke from the wheels lol ..... its only a little but it will do .... [email protected] - - damn broken left lane timing [email protected] - Some other vids i took the next week i went to watch Big 4WD vs CRX - Big 4WD vs Subaru - Proton - Nice Burnout, bad start - N15 SSS - Flynsx -
  12. yep that wasnt me who went into the water ..... lol ..... was pretty cool of mark to share his mis-fortune for other to have a laugh well fellas as u will see in the pic below i think i found the limitations of the exedy HD clutch ...... guessing by the cracks appearing on the left this simply progressed over time and probably started from the drag day i went to with the turbo on then the last drag day where i got 6 clean runs on current power ..... lol ...... hence the snapping of the one on the right ...... anyway the extra heavy duty stuff (2000+ pounds of clamping force) from the US is in and running and i've run it in so it will be getting its work out next week @ WSID .... OMG it was a heavy b'astard when i first drove it out of the workshop
  13. nah mate ..... that was one of my mates either in QLD or VIC .... can't remember which one it was as he's moved .... i think it was in VIC.
  14. thanks man ..... here's a video of the run
  15. Well just got back from WSID ..... T12 is me on the right .... really happy with 12.63 ..... man finally cracked below 2sec for the 60' which is what i set out to do tonight ..... only just but i still made it .... lol ..... all in all was a good night ..... bit more practice getting those 60' times down as a 1.5 has been managed from one of these beasts and we can go for 12 flat .... lol .... always good to aim high .... lol .... pretty happy with this for the first time out down the 1/4 in current form
  16. Thanks guys for the kind word ..... Love how u started ur post redwarf ..... lol LOL .... nothing mate .... needed a paper with date for pics for the insurance company yep was @ the shoot & yep was @ toyotafest ....... its a GT2871R ...... ill keep u post regarding march 9th as i might have something on .... will know closer to the date. hahahahaha chrome in a can :P ..... nah seriously its HPC coated ..... probably should have got the black stuff but oh well was to late that they had done it already ..... the heat shielding appears to be the proper stuff ..... its what fabre australia use on their drag cars ..... i can't remember what brand it was .... supposedly good for 900 degree's C ..... thought we'd chuck it in there for precautionary purposes as it does get damn hot ..... lol ..... thanks A man ..... yeah u were starting to get on my nerves asking, calling, sms'ing every damn day :P :P : ..... as it has been 4 yrs to the day from wen i bought the first part n kicked this project off i think. Oh and A man .... its quicker now than it was before ;) ;) ;) ..... was good to have u 4 fellas in the car for traction purposes |blink| ;) LOL ..... well i have glanced @ this modification once or twice ...... and as it stands the GT4 setup is an option however from what i have been advised the cutting required to support this running gear will render the car non-road worthy ..... or i can go the 4wd which is out of japan in the fiedler or axio ....the only problem there is that particular 4wd setup i dunno how much of a beating it can take since its not a "performance" setup like the GT4 and the GT4 setup will render the car unregisterable .... ahhhh the dilemmas .... lol ..... i havent looked into the sr5 setup at all from the older rolla wagons .... could also b an option ..... Also since ive only just managed to get the car running and back on the road properly i might want to enjoy it for a bit before going back for more workshop down time .... however the suggestion has been noted and ill probably spend some time this year looking into it a bit more doing a whole lot more research ;) ;)
  17. and whoops almost forget the thing that feeds this engine...... lol The Fuel System
  18. had to re-design the cooler part way through the project back to stealth mode ..... damn that blue hose ..... need black silicon for that hose .... lol .... now added to the garage ..... lol .... more parts and junk ..... now to see if they fit without any width/height issues
