Got offered a an AE92 hatch with a blown motor for $500 today, was gonna strip with parts that i need to 'fix and tidy' up my rolla but since its just the motor thats gone, would do a conversion in this nicely,but currently have no funds for that at this stage, don't even have the cash to buy the car itself. Blown motor is a 4ac carb, but its got side skirts and a rear spoiler (which i'm very interested in!) dunno abt the skirts, but yeah, dunno what to do. could just store it and wait til i can afford a new engine and just put it in. Hey Stephen, how much was the respray for your bumpers on your old AE82? Want to fix my rust spots and do a white respray over, any volunteers?

When i do get the fx, i'll be signing up for the annually, want to get into racing, however unlikely for me, but i want to give it a go.

Yes, i have landed back home today, and hopefully i can get the front bumper thingy done by tomorrow morning..And then all that's left to do is the tidying up for the show.

Well if that's the case Adam, I'll probably be attending on Saturday, would you need help setting up in the morning? I got Saturday off (changed shifts) so can be there most of the day if need be...so if you need help on Sunday, ask the other members :lolcry: And don't worry about the lift back home for me on Friday, my brother's able to come pick me up when i drop the car off.

Awesome! Got most of Friday as well to get the car prep'd. Should we meet somewhere before dropping off the cars there or just meet at the showgrounds? Maybe i should give the car the wash Friday afternoon-ish, that'll be better. Will the officials sort out the placement for the cars, or do each individual club do that? And did we have a banner as well?

Yeah, should be fine for me. As what Andrew has said, i'm guessing all the material needed for interests in the NT Toyota Club should be there already if you got them on Saturday, Rollaclub shouldn't be any problems, since i don't think any will have rolla's but hopefully a few will be interested to join up.

Well if that's the case, i'll probably there on Sunday instead of Saturday, hopefully i can change shifts at work.. I'll pop down Saturday though to check out the display and stuff, so if i do come Sunday, then i know what to do and where things are.. I prefer to take the morning shift (what time does it start again?) if someone is willing to do afternoon or visa versa.

looking neat there...which reminds me i should do a degreaser on my engine before the show, i got oil spots here and there. i'll be able to do Saturday Adam, probably afternoon shift, til jus before close or when i can get a ride home (if i'm not driving down) Hopefully i can get everything sorted the day i'm back otherwise it'll just be horrors.... Not long now.
