I know all you old guys are going to say I'm stupid etc but, Think of it this way. If you know that your on your 3rd strike or whatever, and you know if you get pulled over, there's a chance your car is going to get crushed, would you stop? I would think most young people with modified cars wouldn't. I know I wouldn't. Which results in a cop chase. which has the potential to kill more people. And if I had my car crushed, I know the next I would do is make a faster car. And I remember reading on I think the old ae86dc forums in a similar thread, someone brought up the statistics, which showed drinking driving and driver fatigue to kill a lot more people on the streets than hooning.
