Everyone who whines about vista is silly. Its like people who whine about new cars cause they are too complex to work on themselves. Vista works good. I have run it for ages, and it works better than my xp, especially for networking. Ah and windows 7 is just a better version of vista. So stop grinding your gears about vista, its probably your fault it doesn't work.

Maybe you should just throw money at the suspension and brakes first? Good quality shocks/ springs and some better swaybars etc before getting a new engine? This is what I would do if I hadnt blown mine/ had more money.

He may have the 4age car, he didn't exactly say. If his car is a GTI hatch, he is laughing. Also he should get the ae92 4agze, as it is a direct swap with the loom compared to the ae101 (which has to be modified) if it is already 4age.

By run out of puff, do you then lose psi, or stop making boost? Sorry for all the noob questions, I'm a noob at turbos. Also, what would be a good size for the 20v?

Its just my mate as some shit lying around, top mount, a small turbo etc and i don't want to see it go to waste :y:. And he can weld, and excepts payment in beer, so I was wondering what else is needed to run small amounts of boost

Ah, I wasn't asking so I can do it to my car, I have a 20v ;). I was more referring to the idea that this question seems to pop up more heaps, and that if it was stuck to the top, people wouldn't keep asking. Also could be a good place for discussion on things like the airbox and intake design. I would do it myself, but I haven't got enough experience imo. Perhaps list things like information on different exhaust setups, different CAI set-ups and the best cams for different scenarios etc, so that all the noobs don't install 4inch exhausts and pod filters cause commodore owners do it.

I was in school, dropped out and worked for a few years, now I'm currently back in school, doing my TEE. And it is so much harder. Mind you, my last job was more physical, this, is a bigger drain on your body. And depending on someone's status, they may not be at home, so they have other stressful things, like money to deal with :bash:. Just saying that school is harder than working imo.
