i don't really like the shape of the MX5, plus the 6 has a lot more 'options' stock than the 5. don't the the 6 around a lot either! lol but yes, each to their own :jamie:

i don't know who put them on i bought it like that. definitely get the guards done professionally! looks very impressive with 17' had low profile tyres on mine too which added to 'the look' unfortunately i was given bad advice and picked up a lemon. but you should definitely do it, and don't let anyone touch it unless you are 100% sure they know what they are doing!

too large, and guards weren't rolled properly, was always scrubbing on stupid bumps in the road that it shouldn't have. come to think of it, that car was pretty screwed underneath, had lots of problems with the struts etc. so maybe that was the problem??

the 17's i had did look impressive but made the car a bitch to drive. glad to be rid of it. my 2gen MX6 is soooo much more fun..hehe :jamie:

Sorry not a 'him' :jamie: i have an MX6 coupe at the moment, much, much better car than the MX5 :(

i only lurk on here because i will always have a love of corolla's (being my first car and all, back in the day hehe) but i do have say that Mazda surpasses almost all in design, luxury, and power. yay for Mazda my 2c excuse me :jamie:

yeah i was thinking along those lines, but we seem to be coming across that model a lot and they all have like 17' mags and huge exhausts. trying to steer her away from that because they have probably been thrashed! lol do you know much about the newer models?

Hi i'm new here, looking at helping my friend buy a corolla, just wondering if you guys had any suggestions?? My car is a 92 mazda mx6 coupe. it's my baby but i want to help my best mate out in buying a small car she can drive until she has more confidence on the roads, and as i used to drive corolla's thought they would be the best bet! any suggestions would be great on which model or even another toyota would be very much appreciated! thanks in advance Tiki6
