Thanks, this isn't for my t18, i am trying get some information about a project with another car (maybe a KE-something or i might put one in my bmw, not to sure) My t18 is going to put in a 4agze (hopefully) i find out in a couple of weeks if my mate is selling his.

I am trying to find if a workshop in adelaide could help me with custom mounts and other custom parts like steering, sump and some other things. Any advice would help, Thanks

I pretty sure they are all single cam but i will double check when i get back home. I going to rebuild her with forged stuff and port & polished the head and stuff. Twincharge would be something a little bit different and guess it should not be to hard to do. T 18 look ok and i have a good imagination and time make mods to change the style of the car, i have always like classic looking cars but then again i have alway owned newer cars. If i decided to make one car into two i will pass on all the parts to you and fellow rollaclub people

you said it in one word "knobjockeys" Jumbuck.. who buys a FWD ute, it makes as much sence as having a FWD 800hp GT, he he anyway the only thing that lasts up there longer then a month is those landcruisers

Hi I'm new and trying to work out what to do, I will give you the back story My dad is doing a project on his TA22 and he got a someone project car for the motor he had in it 3tgeu (I Think) Now he has everything for his car, I have now been given the rest. I have a running T18 liftback full of rust and it has no plates (out of rego for months and months) I also have a rolling shell also a t18 liftback with no rust alos no plates (same reason) I have many parts to complete a car out of the two with also two of everything. Now with my dad doing the TA22 he has old motor and another (he did two cars into one). So this come to a couple of 3t's and a couple of 2t's with odd parts lying around including a few gearboxes from my other projects. If I didn't have a hobby with cars and did not drink so much, i would be rich. Now with my questions T 18 liftback, should i bother? Just get one together and sell it to fund a project I have heard and read about these 3T and 2T being good? 2T block bored, 3T crank etc. I would like to run a side draught blow through supercharged setup? Can this work with side draughts? not to much pressure and know about the regulator thingy, Would like a Twincharge setup but sounds like a headache If to go with another car, what would give less headaches? Got plenty of parts from other t18's, can i use them on anthing else Or should i sell the lot and start from begining with proceeds Sorry about all the questions but i am stuck in the middle and half says work the t18 and the other says do up older corolla, some of you might push me to do something else, any help would be good, thanks Edited because it did not make sence

This show was better. A bit disapointed they sat on the fence with the whole holden vs ford thing. They are starting to get a thing for damaging cars (or the old fella is) But looking forward to next week with the wrecking yard thing they are doing

Talking about ABS, I think that most of them are overly expensive. Back a few years ago when i had my VS Clunk-a-dore, Salisbury ABS wanted something just shy of 2 grand for the whole setup, told stuff it and i did it by myself for about 600 with paint.

I am a big fan of the UK verison, hammond, may and clarkson work well together. The australian verison was ok, as people have said it will take a while before everything gels together. The cartoonist is a bit weird, who really wants to see if a shark will eat a car? The young one is ok but you get the feeling he is a mums basement/star wars nerd even though he has been in control of anything but a fighter jet (you have to have 20/20 vision to fly one of these) The old guy is not really a good host, he tries to hard to get jokes in, he seems like a good driver and presenter but as host he just hasn't really got it. The short and stubby Stig, would have to be jason bargwanna. We will see how the next couple of weeks go, holden vs ford thing next (i know some people might be interested but it will be good to how they start to compare the two) Theres my two cents anyway

Thanks guys. The car is in a 1000 bits, when I got it. It had a 3t-gteu in it before but this has been taken out for my Dad's TA22 but now I have all these other parts to play with. Firstly I am going to get it over the pits, with a working 2t engine and a 5 speed and the other parts i have lying around and then... I will play around with what dashills said with 2t and 3t crank thingy, I got some info on this from somewhere. I am going to supercharge it with a weber setup, not to sure about if i will have a blow or draw though setup yet. When I start it near christmas I will post on a few other things when they come and i am also post on how i am going

Hi, this is my first post so i will see how i go... I have been given a T18 Liftback with a lot of spares The spares include 2 interiors 1x 2t 2x 3t 3x gearboxes and a heap of other bits and pieces The questions i have are.... Which motor to use 2t or 3t(or are they pretty much the same)? I got info about using bits from both engines and making one? I am also looking to to turbo or supercharging it, but want to keep the carby, which is going to give less headaches? Looking also at a weber setup too? What model is it? te72?? i have no idea? and what models are interchangable? I have infomation on everything but the engine side of things, everything is kind of a blur at the moment. I am looking at doing most of things myself, i have access to a good workshop, i am doing the painting, welding and assemblly. I want do as much as i can to learn for future projects ?(trying not to get a head of myself) Any info will help me out
