Pulled the motor and trans today as well as tidied some things up. We also test fit the AE86 dash but my camera ran out of batteries before I could snap pics of how it looked :( Expect more updates soon! Since the AE86 dashboard fits so nice and the TE one only goes to 80mph and has no tach... I live in Seattle/Tacoma area of Washington and I love it :D

So you saw my car in my intro and I'm movin along a little. I'll have another update tomorrow and every Thursday and Friday until it's done :) Got some more work done today. Takin the motor apart enough to get the bitch out. Jesse ate my f@$kin tow bar... Jesse about to give it the 'ol 3T Sweeping... I was workin REAL hard... Jesse pretending to be doing something important... Changed his mind, now he LOVES the 3T! PEACE wiring harness... Couple more days and I'll be sittin low also :n: So about spring rates, what works well on a TE72 or should I say T-18 for some of you? I'm wondering if my current TRD 6f and 4.7r spring rates will work well on this platform or if those rates seem all wrong. What rates are you guys running?

Greeting from Washington State :) While searching for TE info (recently bought one) I stumbled on this site and Imust say you guys have great info! I have had an 86 for the last few years and recently twister her up so everythings goin into the TE72 :D Here she is. Picked her up for $250. Towed behind a trailer since new till 1997, only 2 owner :D Stated stripping her the next day :y: The red hatchback with the sideskirts is the donor and my old car :) Heres my old 86 The TE will be getting caged shortly after the swap is done. My hi-comp 4ag hybrid motor will be making it's way into the car along with all the brake and suspension goodies. I'll have pics of the progress as it happens :D
