  1. Off-set is MAJORLY lacking but looks surprisingly well! Perhaps some huge spacers would do nicely if you plan on using FWD wheels :P
  2. Look's great man! Your car is a twin of mine in 4-door and with a K instead of a T in the bay :hmm:
  3. I love those hubcaps and actually am in need of one more as one has gone missing :jamie:
  4. Is that so! Are they nice and pretty?
  5. So the projects been moving slower with school starting and other stuff but here's a little heads up... RIP Killin some rust... Making the hole bigger for the gas tank... How to hold stuff up while you replace a crossmember? Zipties of course! Gettin ready for paint and stuff... Interior nice and black... With a coat of sparkle on top... Motor's getting gussied up before heading into the bay. T3 sent me the wrong parts for the second time, but unlike last time took care of the situation right away. Lot's of dumb stuff making it move slow lately like the x-member being bent and also a strut casing as well as losing some small parts I need, but I'm aiming for it to be done by the 23rd for DrifFest.
  6. That's 2x what you should pay :D
  7. No good man! I hope to see something cool come out of all this though.
  8. Like the new wheels? My friends letten me roll em for awhile :P
  9. I don't get it, why is being in Washington funny?
  10. Oooh I'll play this game also :angrybird: So here's my car shortly after I bought her about 4 years ago sitting next to my brothers FC... Blew the motor so I swapped in a hi-comp redtop block and redid the head... Lowered her and put some SSR Colins on... Hittin events up non stop after that... Shortly before her demise... Shortly after... :D
  11. She set me back a cool $800. Pretty good considering how clean she is :angrybird:
  12. So I bought another Corolla for daily driver duties. She's a beautifull 1975 Corolla Deluxe (TE31). The paint is VERY nice as is the interior. There's only a little rust around the boot and 2 minor tears in the drivers side seat. She's powered by a 2T now but I plan on putting in a 3T block with the 2T head, Weber 32/36, cam, headers, and exhaust and call it good as well as lowering her and tinting the windows. What do you guys think?
  13. Maxed out the NRCA's :D Mmmmm, Goodridge lines all around  Gas lines and brake lines are in now and so is the pretty blue CMC WOO f@$kIN HOO dual headlight conversion to get rid of those gross rectangles! The headache begins... Got some other boring stuff done that wasn't worth pictures like swapping everything from a bent strut casing to an unbent one and further cleaning of the interior/exterior. More updates soon and often :angrybird:
  14. What you need to cut out to use the 86 steering rack... Using the 86 rubber booty... This would not bolt up so Jesse ground down the mounting tabs and we used washers... 86 booster and BMC will work but you must use the TE CMC unless you want to drill some holes... All in all I'm happy there's no more steering box :D
  15. Using the TE tophats... AE crossmember is a direct bolt-in... Almost... Done. Mmmm... More updates tomorrow! R&P, SS lines, TRD 6k springs, AGX 4 way adjustables, rebuilt calipers, Brembo blanks, PBR MetalMaster pads... I'm so excited :D
  16. The 86 was pretty bad. -3 degrees camber on one side and +.05 on the other. When I drop it on jackstands one side lands on the stand and theres a few inches before the other side would land. The frame also crumpled underneath and popped up behind the drivers seat, so I guess you could say it's pretty bad :)
  17. More of the same... Out comes the dash... Switch wouldn't come out so we torched the bitch  Never to see another engine again... Turboooo From this :jamie: To this  But the TE will make up for all of the sadness of losing my baby for the past 4 years.
  18. Thanks! In 2 weeks the real work begins. It would begin next week but I'm taking my AE86 to the track one last time next Friday before I start to strip her down. I think the project will be complete within 1-2 months guaranteed, updated weekly =)
  19. Little update =) Droppin the tank... Before... During... After... Someones gonna have to do something about this :D BOOYAH BITCHES So happy together... So the tank and lines are out, brake lines, and the bay is clean enough for a tasty treat of 4AG :D

    Drift Fest

The last event we had 40 drivers and over 1000 spectators. I designed this track layout for the previous event :abuse: I had the whole course to play around with to find out what works. Next Friday I'm testing out another track to design a layout for :'(

    Drift Fest

Well, I figured I'd post the event's I instruct at :jamie: http://www.driftfest.com/ Next event is 8/20-21 in Roseburg, Oregon.
  23. No, that's the only side I have pics of :lolcry: And actually there driving on the "right " side of the road :D
  24. Yeah, 4AG. The dash wasn't a direct bolt in but doesn't appear to need much work, just a little trimming. Were stripping the TE down to the bare shell and using 100% of the parts from the donor AE, my old car. Parts from my old 86 that are going to the TE include... -Hi-comp block -Largeport head (mildy worked over) -TRD copy headers -Intake -Custom exhaust -TRD 8mm HG -Electric fan setup -IG Race Garage clutch -KYB AGX adjustable shocks -TRD 6kg/mm front and 4.7kg/mm rear springs -BV NRCA's -BV Adjustable lateral rod -Full poly bushings -Brembo rotors and PBR MetalMaster pads -SS lines all around -New BMC, CMC and slave -Rebuilt calipers -The AE86 rearend with discs and rebuilt factory LSD -Sparco Sprint seat
