Hi all, went to steve orders autos wreckers at mowbray in launceston and he has a very tidy blue ta22 celica which is complete with motor and automatic gearbox. It is very straight and rust free. :monkey:

G'day and welcome to the club. Did you happen to buy your rolla from opposite the liberty servo at legana. As I saw it for sale yesterday arvo there for $500???????????????????? I work at pedders suspension and own a 1979 ke55 round headlight model with black steelies, and tinted windows. I also own a macko '73' ke20 mustard colour on SI rego with superlite wheels. Hi, I got the adapter plates from PABS. They have them on the shelve.

I should have my ke20 ready by then, just got to get my twin webers tuned up. :D

Actually Josho Mine does not have ke30 headlights, as toyota made two types of ke55 corolla's. One with the round headlight front, 4k 1300cc motor, different grille and a slightly different bonnet (buldges up). This model came out in about 1978-79 which is like mine, and the other model ke55 which came out in 1980-81 had the square headlight front, honeycomb grille, extentend bumbers which wrap around the sides of the car more and flatter style of tailights. :) :) :) The ke55 model was the first of of the corolla's to have the 4k 1300cc donk, all ke30 models had the smaller 3k 1200cc motor. :P By the way Loyds yellow rolla coupe is a round headlight ke55 model, just like mine but in coupe form. :y: :) Just wanted to clarify that. :) :) :) bye for now. :)

Gday all. I have just converted my '73 ke20 to twin downdraught webers. Originally I was running a single downdraught weber, but have longed for a twin carby setup, so I purchased a twin carb manifold from cameron with the yellow the ke70 panelvan. :P So all I had to do was, buy another brand new weber and there you go I have two now. So I will have something to show you all at our next Rolla meet. :) Seeyou all soon. :y: :) :) :) :) :)

Actually Josh my daily driver is a KE55(note the rubber corners on the bumpers). :P

Loyd the springs are about 1.5 to 2 inches lower than standard, depending on how much the original springs have sagged.

that's just the springs, but if you pull out the strut assembly your self we will change over the springs free of charge. :P

Hi Loyd, Pedders don't do swaybars for the front of your corolla, and lowered front coils for a ra23 celica are $82.00 each. :P

We should be there around about 11:15 or 11:30 ish :)

As long as it's a corolla we don't care what condition it is. :)

Yeah I cleaned the ke55 up to it was a bit dirty. Well at least I know that I won't be the only one there from our group.

Hi, Just reminding you all of the cruise tomorrow January 22nd around the sideling. We are meeting with the datsun club at 10:30am at the CH Smith marine building behind the old redline bus depot. Also wondering who will be attending. :wink: :( :)

I won't be taking my cars down to exeter seeing that it's on dirt. If you ask me, I can't think of a better way to ruin your car. If I had an old wreck of a paddock basher than I might consider it, I will be going on the cruise to scottsdale instead!!! :)

Hi fella's, just letting you know that there is a car show at Inveresk on January 15th. It's held every year on the grass area near the exhibition building, I thought that maybe we could meet up as a group at the Inveresk railyards at around 9 am and then we could all go and put our cars on show and get a bit of publicity for the group and hopefully get some new members. I had my ke20 there last year and it was a good day, Also it's free to enter. :wink: :D :D

Hi Cameron, about that k-b manifold you have I 'm very interested in buying it. Were about's do you live. I'll have to come around one day and take a look at it or maybe you could bring it along with you to the next meet. I will be in touch, thanks. :wink:

Hi St.Nick, that was me in that Bamboo coloured corolla ke20 last night. It doesn't get driven much and it was a bit dusty. I saw you walk past and noticed that you were admiring my car. You were in that VW CARERRA right. I see that drive past work a lot, I work at Pedders. I have a yellow 1979 ke55 corolla sedan with black wheels which is my work car.
