  1. Probably best to take it to an engineer and ask him what the go is dude or ring qld transport that's the best way to do it
  2. IRS cradle brackets lined up for welding up... Welded in place finally.... New wheels and rego again!!
  3. I can't see why they would've left the engine code off it if it got plated for the rest of it!! If you wanna be dodgy I'm fairly sure LA1 is the engine code could just get an engraver and scribe it on there!!! Or look up the code of practice and find out what the legal limit is for the car, literage wise(I.e how big of an engine can go in max) I mean in theory if it has bigger brakes all round I can't see why it wouldn't be able to go into the car legally
  4. I was talking to an occifer of the law one day and if they're still on their p's they have to display it like everyone else!!!!
  5. In my brain it made sence so that all the questions that frequently get asked can just be linked straight to one thread rather than people just being smashed with 'use the search button' Feel free to delete this thread if you want no skin off my nose....
  6. Could be a good idea aye, mount it somewhere under the guard or something....
  7. The spelling mistakes were put in on purpose but thanks for taking the focus completely off what the topic is about lads ;) You get the point though..... It's farking annoying
  8. Ask all your questions here that you are unsure of rather than starting a new thread everytime.... Everyone started here once so help the new kids out And FFS use correct spellings and grammers while you're typing the question.... It is quite annoying trying to desifer text talk or just plain lazyness, take your time and explain to the best of your knowledge what you are talking about and I'm sure people will be glad to help
  9. :( that sucks dude when did you lock ya keys in there?
  10. Cars coming up good reed, I like the black pillars and window surrounds Also that jag from the rear looks awesome not sold on the front though, but props to the owner for doing something different aye
  11. That's cool man I never noticed that before aye
  12. Needs more turbo t series motor asap :D
  13. I reckon flat green but abit darker, that colour wasn't on cop bait long enough before it was defected..... Have another stab at it, if not good ol flat black comes up great too :D
  14. If I do get pinned for having the coilovers in the rear, I do have a set of SSL king springs and shocks to go back in, it would just be nice to have abit of adjustability with ride height so when its driving daily it would sit where an SSL king spring would sit (just ontop of the tire) and for shows and shit like downshift meets and jdmst stuff I can wind it right down and piss off all the Silvia and skyline owners :D
  15. If you want a different spring rate you just have to tell them when purchasing them from what they say on the sight Seems like they will be the go then if nobody is having any dramas with them :D , thanks for the feedback lads appreciate it
  16. The camber on a falcon isnt adjusted like an import at the strut top its in the top of the hub setup(hard to explain without photos) so the shock is centred fullstop which makes life a shitload easier when fitting and removing. I am only asking about the otomoto(hsd) kit because nobody makes coilovers for Au falcon IRS, so I need to make my own like you do on the front of the rollas
  17. Hey lads has anyone had any bad experiences using otomoto coilover kits? I'm looking at using them to make a pair of coilovers for my falcon and I know afew guys on here run them and I havn't heard any bad stories about them, so I thought I would ask before jumping into the deep end
  18. Waaaaaaaazzzzzzzzuuuuuuuuupppppp Only a ford driver could pull this off!!!
  19. Make sure you use the same crown wheel off your centre when you swap them over too, cause the gears are cut to be matched!! It's easy to swap centre's takes about an hour max
  20. If by 'control blade' I.E commodore style or ba - fg IRS, nah au IRS is completly different and a WAAAAAYYYYYY better design Au IRS http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c354/bullyhotrod86jh/Picture003.jpg http://www.trueblueford.com/images/AU1xrIRS.jpg Ba IRS http://www.trueblueford.com/images/BA_IRS4_lrg45.jpg ^^^^ terrible design, like a commodore... I needed to almost completely delete the watts link setup in the rear of the falcon so that the top arms sit up under the chassis rails, so I need to box up the watts link remaining that I have cut out to put more strength back into it and hopefully get it passed engineers!!!
  21. Swaybar in and comparison shot IRS just about completed just needs some welding done and the phatness will be legendary Also threw on the rocker cover today and picked up a chrome handbrake button That's it for now
