Hey all I'm going to Thailand this sunday and I was wondering if there is anywhere I can check out there corollas and possibly pick up some cool parts, like a well known workshop or possibly a wreckers or something like that. I'm staying near phuket so I'm hoping there is something close by I can have a look at and if I'm lucky score some cool parts. Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Troy.

Long story short. Bought this corolla of an old man about 5 years ago for 1400 bucks. Drove it stock for a while then got sick of monster truck height so lopped the springs and got defected. Got off defect after about a month of getting it to regency spec and slowly its getting towards exactly the way I want it. Ive got a 180 for a daily so this is now mainly track car undefected so it can be walk in rego'd. Engine- JDM 4age 16valve HKS Mushroom Filter Thermo JDM T50 Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch Suspension- Rear- 4.5kg springs Excel G Sierras Shocks Ajps Panhard Rod LSD (Locked Standard Diff) Whiteline Rear Swaybar Front- AJPS Coilovers With Excel G inserts AJPS RCA's Cusco Camber Tops XT130 LCA's AJPS Lock Spacer AJPS Tie Rod Ends Some polyurethane bushes Interior- Momo deep dish wheel on HKB Boss kit Removed sound deadening, seats, carpet etc Gauges (on the way) Random Seat from JZX81 I'm told Wheels- 14x7 Work Equip 03s up front with RE001s 14x7.5 Wantanabes with random bridgestones Plans- Quads Again Madhouse lip 13s New rack (Old ones busted from a stack) Tie Rod Ends (Old ones worn out according to wheel aligner) Castor Rods Front Swaybar Fixed back seat Turbo or Bit of work N/A style. Cams, better computer etc. Bunch of old and new photos in there.

Mate has had his evo 7 stolen from regency tafe today around 1oclock. Its a white evo 7 with white wheels, and no spoiler and also black mud flaps. It also has black xx plates. Were just trying to make it known incase a bunch of parts etc turn up or its seen driving around anywhere. Howd you get the paint on the AE71 so good? Mine is pretty faded and I wouldnt mind polishing it up like that.

Yeah such a clean car. He got defected in it but they wrote the paint code instead of the vin number so cleared it withing five minutes. I loled.

Spotted lukes old car being possibly the best AE71 Ive ever seen.

As she sits atm. Plus madhouse lip fixed. Powdercoated MA61's with a pair of 185/60/14 RE001's on the front and a pair of 185/60/14 Kenda Komets on the rear. Should be hitting the track first practice next year I hope. Also installed lock spacer, tie rods and adjustable panhard rod. Let me know what you think. Cheer Troy

Rekon ill bring the 4AGE'D rolla down for a cruise. Havent had a chance to take it throught the hills with the new suspension and the engine. Should have rims by then :y:

don't think he was being a smartass. What colour are you thinking of going? And Id like to see a 13b in there. Would be quite a weapon. Also is this car just a cruising car? Or are you going to use it for another use? Cause 13b will cost alot of money. Gl with it and hope to see the 13b in there soon!

Haha cheers guys but its not the mintest car thats for sure but I'm happy with it. Should see it at mallala sometime trying to skid but failing. Just want to install my Tie Rods and Lock Spacer and get some wheels and probably quads again. Then do the drifting. Keep comments rolling. Ill check this regulary and update when necessary.

Yeh the XT130's aswell as Camber tops give me my desired camber as Trav said. The camber from just the lca's isnt that noticable. Could easily go un noticed by the 5-0. I'm currently running -2 degrees cause every wheel aligner I have been to is retarded and thinks there maxed out but obviously doesnt know shit from clay when it comes to camber tops. Going to explain it to next person I get wheel alignment from. And yeh my car is currently at the exhuast shop getting the exhaust done aswell as the surge tank neatened up, thermo wired up and few small other bits and pieces. Am really in need of a throttle cable to suit and the lines for the hydro clutch. Then should be able to drive. Will be at next drift prac and hopefully someone organises a cruise sometime soon.

I do have a 4age ke70 that I built myself and its my daily driver. Its also a little bit suspension wise but still going to do more. Got ###### 6kg coilovers which make it handle really nicely taking corners. Cusco Camber Tops. 4.5kg springs rear. Also xt130 LCA's And next up got lock spacer, tie rods and swaybars. Ive done most of the build myself aswell with a helping hand from a few mates. From my experience I'm glad I did a bit of suspension first cause when I have the power I got something to make the car handle better unlike if I were to leave it stock. Are you looking at getting coilovers and stiff springs for the rear and some of the other things Ive said?

How come you built this if your not going to skid or rally it and want a cheap daily? Should of just got a 20 valve fwd corolla as you seem to have no need for the rwd side of things. Would of save you alot of time and money. Just go out and skid it at least once. Or even do a grip day or something like that. Suburban driving is no way to test out the real potential of this car. Aside from that its a dope build. Gl with it.
