  1. that link is gonna cost a bit ay
  2. in nz theres a few you 17s you can get that bolt on sweet, performance wheels make a "lotus" or ROH adrenaline, advanti flash are a few off the top of my head that are 17x7, they go on quite nice, heres a link to a ke70 with 18s, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-215708612.htm looks the part if you ask me, depends what style your aiming for
  3. ive found a pic of a ke10 (left hand drive) that has kp60 starlet front end put in. you can see the crossmember has been moved foward a bit. just wondering if anyone knows why? i thought maybe the angle of the lower arms might put front wheels back a bit so theyve done it to compensate. thoughts anyone? this pic is from a thread from 2003 on a U.S.A site so i can't track the guy down. I'm convinced I'm gonna get this done now after seeing it has actually been done thanks
  4. i have a 1969 ke10 with all standard front end and want to upgrade to rack and pinion steering. I'm wondering if anyone has done this or knows how to do it? ive found a setup from a kp60 starlet and am going to try fit that, will have to use the kp60 engine crossmember etc, basically going to try swap the whole front over just using the ke10 strut tops to bolt hold struts in. any advice would be great I'm figuring this out as i go, or just keep watching this space .....
  5. anyone looked at putting a 7mge in one of these? want to stay with a toyota motor but trying to fill the engine bay and big tunnel as much as poss
  6. yea my old flatmate has a 2door with a 4age t50 using standard tunnel no probs. i would rather put it back to original would just need pics of how it is meant to look so i can show the fabricator what i want. but you are right i could just put a 4age in and hope my diff holds out. i wouldnt thrash it but enjoy breaking it in with a quick little third gear chirpie --i think he wanted to put a rotary in it?--
  7. yea i would be alot more excited about this project if i knew i could get the tunnel put back to standard. the biggest problem i think is when you are looking at the firewall from the front they have cut it a fair bit bigger aswell, ive added a pic to help explain. and I'm not sure that the hole can be closed in / repaired back down to smaller size
  8. heres a video link to a 4door in japan. this thing is tough!! :locked:
  9. so this is my 4door 1969 ke10. I'm not sure weither to tidy it up or get rid of it. its real straight and has not rust, has been panelled and primed, just needs a rub back and a top coat really. but whats makes me unsure is the second two photos.. the last owner has modified the gearbox/driveshaft tunnel, or should i say made it massive. I'm not sure they have done it but they have. it doesnt really effect the vehicle that much but the things i don't like about it are... 1) means the original back seat wont fit properly unless i get that part changed back 2) less foot room front and back 3) takes away from the original-ness of the car 4) its just stupidly big and pointless if i were to keep it i would just paint it and put a 4k/5k or a 4age in it, so i would never need that bigger tunnel for anything, just thought id get a general opinion as to what you all think as i don't seem to see many 4door models on this site. i don't know weither thats because they are either A: too lame for people to care about or B: less common/rare. please post your thoughts and help me decide what to do, cheers
