  1. I'm not sure if all small ports are the same but mine looks like a small port though it might be bored out as it is messuring 50mm from lip to lip then the inside is 46mm. Thank you for your help. Ian
  2. Hi I'm after the size (length form) from one side to the other not the diameter or depth, height or volume of the intake ports on a 100kW smallport 4AGE engine thanks. Ian
  3. UUhhhhh I just got a silvertop so looks like its going in. Will be putting the 4AGE in something else.
  4. LOL i seen that good work man did they say if the 112 was at the wheels ?
  5. Sorry for the miss understanding Luke, as MYSTIK said its a AE92 sedan that had a 4A-FC in it converted it to the 100KW 4AGE started it and it sounded funny so I took it for a drive and found out the gearbox is stuffed and the head has a knocking noise. I got told that its my shims the head is fine I just can't be stuffed mucking around with lifters and springs. I just wanted to know if the 20v st head would fit on the 100kw block or should I just put the whole engine in it.
  6. Ok I'm getting the silvertop engine should I just put the whole thing in there much around with the cooling and blah blah blah, or try the head thing? I heard that one of the mounts need adjusting.
  7. Ok sorry i didnt know that he didnt care what happens to it. And the cost, time wouldnt be worth it. :P
  8. Hahahaha Jip your car would be perfect just chuck some stocko's on there and you'll be fine. I want to see if i can get larger wheels when the time comes I'm not scared of it bottoming out just can't be fukt gettin under there to pull all the shit out after. Maybe ill go get a twinky and take that instead.
  9. it will probably last about 10 mins then crack something :P
  10. it will hurt your poor engine it wont be able to support the boost that the supercharger gives.
  11. I took a FWD seca 4AFE out there while it was abit damp, managed ok and loved the mud just wont be able to take anything there that has lowered springs :D The track that i used was the one that starts just around the begining of the glasshouse mountain look-out entry but there are heaps more and its easy to get lost in there.
  12. F@#k yeah I'm keen, but with all the rain thats been around maybey we will need to bring some tow ropes. :D
  13. i know of some out mt cotton but the best place would have to be amongst the trees on the way to the sunshine coast, I took a FWD 4afe seca out there didnt get sideways that much but it was a good rally and doing 60-70 kmph on a narrow track is pretty fun. Jip when you gunna get those red walls dirty anywayz I'm keen to see you throw that 30 around some dirt corners.
  14. It is a good idea considering the money that would be saved in the process but as irokin said he is paying for the site month in and month out so without him doing so there wouldnt be a site for us to share our services. Maybe just sticking to what members can offer rather than promoting other businesses i the thread???????????
  15. Ah f@ck it I'm sticking to the 100KW head ive researched and they seem cheaper and easier to mod / replace / repair / sorce parts for and i just got my hands on one from Travis he made it sparkley for me. Ok mods this was a worthless thread sorry for any inconvenience :y: Ian
  16. HHmmm i just finished this conversion :y: but it seems better to replace the whole thing again with a silvertop head and a 7a-fe block to create the 7AGE just thinking if the red top head fits on the 7afe and the silvertop fits on the 7afe wouldnt that make them the same?
  17. Wow thats going to suck if it does hit is there anyway to find out the piston / valve clearences on both engines.
  18. Just wondering if a silvertop head would bolt up to the 100KW 4A-GE. Might have a dodgey head on my 4age so I'm keen to replace it and thought that a silvertop might look better. :)
  19. Yeah sticking to the spec on a 4afc engine would be the only way to go. If you want abit more grunt try playing with the carb but then it will still run higher. If its running good and you have no problems with it just leave it cause its going to be a bitch if you stuff something up.
  20. Hey I'm not saying your a bad guy or anything. But are there young kids in your area? They could be letting your tyres down. I had the same problem the tyres stayed all good for the day then woke up and thought they had a slow leak. :y:
  21. Ok guys thanks for ya help AEMoz your trick worked. Now that ive got it going there is smoke coming from the manifold near the exhaust could that be cause by a bent dodgey O2 sensor?
  22. Uh and its the FWD 100KW 4A-GE with a C52 gearbox. :P
  23. Hey thanks guys I'm so keen to get this biatch started. Ke70dave I seen ya down at the plaza the other night near Mcdonals I'm just up wynnum road near Bognor rd so it would be cool if you could come help out. I got all the tools needed. The conversion has gone smooth untill the ignition then medicine man worked his magic and it was cured. Now its the starting bit. ALL I WANT TO DO IS DRIVE MY BLOODY CAR :P
