i have an ae71 with a 4ac, it was running fine but all of a sudden it has started spraying fuel out the carby then dying. i put another carby on it but still the same thing. its coming out the pipes circled in red \/

wanted to buy: a 4ac starter motor for my ae71 prefer one around launceston cheers

i put a 32/36 webber on my ae71 wagon and it wont idle, it runs fine but you have to keep revving it other wise it dies like there is no fuel. i have cleaned all the jets. any ideas what would be wrong? thanks tobie :y:

as far as i know there is no restrictions here on what you can and can't drive

it was a blockage, i put the compressor on the fuel line into the carby for a couple of minutes and it flushed all the rubbish out now it runs fine. thanks for your help :y:

i cleaned out the carby today, there is a filter where the fuel goes in above the float i cleaned that and filled the bowl with fuel when i put it back on the car ran until the bowl was empty. its getting fuel cos if you pull off the fuel line going into the carby fuel sprays out under pressure, any idea why its not filling the bowl?

the 4ac in my wagon wont start, its got spark and there is fuel coming to the carby because when you undo the fuel line it squirts out like its under alot of presure.it will run if you poor fuel down the carby but then it dies once it runs out. could the jets be blocked? whats the best way to clean them out? also i need to know what vacuum lines are required and what ones arent as the last owner has pulled most of the hoses off. any help would be muchly appreciated :y:

haha that is pretty odd. not to sure what I'm going to do to it yet, its going to be my daily when i get my licence back in april. once i get it registered in the next few weeks ill work out what my plans are. any suggestions are welcome :y:

Well this is my wagon, finally got it home today after it sitting at a mates since i got it 2 months ago. Plan to get it ready for rego in the next couple of weeks. Its just a stock 4ac with a 4 speed manual.
