  1. You can count me in for this one! I suck at fishing, though I don't mind it. But camping with some mates, cars and a few beers sounds like a good waste of time to me!
  2. No I just couldn't resist any longer. And while jumping the 'coon does sound like a good 8 seconds of fun, I can just imagine the pile of twisted metal left afterwards. Not to mention, I really don't want to cop an airbag to the face! Maybe you should jump the SC van eh Si?
  3. He was cruising along at about 100 - 105 comfortably. Didn't sound like he was trying too hard.
  4. This thing is a true death trap now. Given that Yoda and myself installed the replacement rear brake, its sure to kill one of us!
  5. Hey I know that car, I saw it on the road too between Devonport and Burnie about the same time yesterday morning. Had a nice little setup going on inside with the roll cage haha!
  6. Sadly the falcon in my avatar isn't mine :hmm: I wish mine looked like that! And to Dan, no I'm keeping the coon as a daily, its too comfy and too nice on the highway. Plus, being auto means I can eat my maccas and drive at the same time! :P
  7. Hi guys, thought I would finally join up and say hello! I've been reading your forums over toyoda's shoulder now for a fair while, and as I am about to purchase my first 'rolla, I thought it prudent to join up myself and become an active member, rather than a ghost. I have been on 1 rolla club cruise and to 1 photo shoot, and have met a few of the guys down here in Tassie. That, and been hanging around with yoda for toooo long to avoid this rolla obsession any longer! Currently I drive a flopsy 'coon in the form of a 1994 EF Falcon GLi sedan. Be assured though, it gets treated as it deserves. (I've just found out today that I've just about eaten a set of pads AND rotors in about 15,000k's...) As for what I'm useful for, well, I'm a mean hand with a soldering iron, and seem to have a good handle on anything electrical. I work as a Systems Engineer for an IT firm here in Launceston. Not useless at general mechanics, and always willing to have a go with lending a hand! Oh, and I *might* be known to have a lead foot in the coon on more that one occasion.. So I hope to get to know a few more of you guys, and maybe see you round! Banshee - out.
