  1. Let me know when it is, I can always follow along in the chook tin for when someone inevitably needs the lift back to town..
  2. Very nice snotty! Am I right I spotted this at the Autobarn opening in Moonah a couple weeks back? If not, someone else has a snot rolla with that same JDM sticker.
  3. Okay Si, what time!?
  4. Ok so is it still happening that there is a little cruise going out to the drags tomorrow? If so, what time and where are people meeting? I'm going out there, would love to cruise out with some of you guys.
  5. STOLEN: 2x Work CR-KAI 18x9.5" +38 Wheels in Gunmetal. Have lots of sentimental value to not to mention monetary. Stolen around 10:00PM last night off my friends car on the front lawn. Please keep an eye out. These pr!cks left the skyline sitting on its brakes on the lawn, with a brick in the middle of the floor pan. If anyone sees these on a car or for sale, can you let me know? Cheers, Matt.
  6. Wow!! You've done such a brilliant job on this! Its great to see this car get the attention it needed. Little sad to see the van lose its 5K power, that thing used to fairly haul down the highway! Fantastic work, much approve :)
  7. Fkn brilliant Renault Ad.
  8. What I encountered was this: I run a 5k in a KE18. Original water pump was likely from the original 3k, as it was a very short neck with a shallow pulley. This allowed the fan to fit between the motor and original rad. When I replaced the pump with a unit from a newer 5k motor, it was a much longer neck on the pump with a deeper pulley. Also, the four mount screws were a slightly larger radius. This meant i had to swap fans too. BUT, I then ran shit out of room, and as TasRX stated, it ate its core when the engine shifted forward on a 2nd gear downshift. This caused the fan blade to nick the bottom of the top tank, folding a shard of plastic inwards and mincing my core. What i have done now is fitted a KE70 rad, removed the mech fan, and fitted a front mounted thermo fan. As i was still shit out of room for even a thermo fan to squeeze in there.
  9. Number 1: Number 2: Sometimes this car is even clean!
  10. 4x4 will be there, it is it the tow vehicle complete with snatch strap.
  11. Sounds good, I'll be there!
  12. The Poatina road is pretty speccy, I'm keen for that way. And there are plenty of corners for you to hit Dan 8/
  13. Must be time for a cruise pretty soon I feel...
  14. ... No idea who that could have been. Anyone on here could own both a KE18 and an EF coon... Could have been anyone really..
  15. Lol, you utter tard. Not a rolla, but I spotted a silver Corvette Stingray outside the Launceston cinemas about 12:15pm on Saturday. Looked immaculate, like it had just rolled out of the most anal showroom ever!
  16. Definately! We should meet up on Saturday or Sunday afternoons somewhere in Launnie or nearby. Any ideas as to where?
  17. Does this still happen?
  18. Heheh, the one I just bought!?
  19. It will be getting mechanically fixed up soon, with a new alternator and possibly battery. I will install a volatage and charge meter. Also a tachometer. Ive just put a replacement radiator in it (old one didnt leak, but there were no fins left so it was barely cooling). Plans for the body are to fit the replacement front panels, doors and bonnet that I picked up from the seller rust free. Then repsray the body a Matte black. Although I am now considering a gloss black. Unsure. New wheels in the form of 13 x 7 Spitfires are being considered also. I then intend to do something about the awfully heavy throttle pedal. Later on, the suspension will be lowered ever so slightly, and stiffened up alot. Its quite hairy at speed atm, and with the twin carb 5K its more than capable of getting to scary speeds. Especially once its had a service and a tune. Then work on the interior. I'm thinking a repaint ( the interior now has been painted black, so I will redo that) Then the panelvan treatment: Mattress, nice sound system, nicely upholstered inside walls. And some sound deadening too! Thoughts?
  20. Excellent day! Nice first outing for the KE18 too! Was great to see so many different types of Toyota vehicles!
  21. Will be there this morning. Who else is coming along?
  22. Yes, it's true, your a muppet. And yep, I'm gonna get stuck into this asap!' Got big plans..
  23. Well, I went and finally got myself an little baby rolla. And a properly special one at that! I picked this up last night from Somerset, and drove it back with Ben. Drives like a dream for a 40 year old car! It has a 5k motor in it as it sits at the moment, bolted to a pretty tight 5 speed box. The diff whines like a whore with an infection though! Everything works, except the Alternator (well, it works enough that you can drive with the lights on, or the wipers, but not both. Will fix asap) Its got some rust, its got some dents, but it's going to get fixed up soon enough. Within the next 3 months! Piccies.. can't wait to start!
  24. Yes I did mean the Staging Connection's van. I have just returned from the dams this afternoon, I detoured on the way back home from Beauty Point for work. It nice and loose up there. And once again, the coon came out worse for wear, I smashed my own hubcap after it came off my drivers front wheel. Went straight under. Crunch. Lol.
