  1. Normally get home about 5, just shoot me a message if you want mate! ;) Made up a new battery bracket tonight aswell so the cooler piping doesn't touch it!
  2. Well pullled abit of fuel out of it and set the timing to about 15. Running alot nicer thats for sure. Wideband is now not reading maxed out either haha
  3. I did richen it a little to get it started but, I may of gone a little far maybe. Just finished wiring in a wideband oxy sensor if thats what you mean by a sniffer? Just hope its in the correct location. So you had it at 30 degrees? Ill try and set it something similar tomorrow once i get a timing light! Cheers for all your help aswell Stu Edit: Just started the car quickly, (sorry neighbours) haha Wideband reads rich as at idle so I think you might be right stu, so rich its missfiring
  4. Went to start it today, had a few little issues. Leaking lift pump and then the fuel rail had a leak so needed to get a new O ring for it Anyway it starts pretty easy but now I need to tune it etc. Sounds like it is missing but not sure if thats from the timing not being correct? Need to get my timing light back off my dad. Edit: Think it might be an airleak causing the miss? Video below
  5. Yeah I think I still have it Stu, I found an old manual for it aswell So i have been reading up a little on it. ;) Top mount is only temporary Si, Only want to cut holes once if the front of the car. so just smashed it up the top for the time being. Cheers mate I might get you over one night then :)
  6. Didn't get the chance to try and start it today. Intercooler didn't really line up with the pipes Supplied as I don't have the custom SC mount the kit was meant to come with :( So any way After 3 trips to town and back I finally got all the bits I needed etc Fabbed up a intercooler bracket aswell. Plenty of clearance when the bonnet is shut now
  7. So is it making 300 killer wasps yet Si? haha
  8. Day off work today, so making some progress. Just installed a new throttle cable, After lunch ill do an oil change and top it up with water. Then will recheck all the fuel system hose clamps and then turn it over! :)
  9. Ah that makes sense... Thanks Si :y:
  10. Plumbing up some hoses tonight and got to my brake booster Vac line, Normally goes on the manifold to get the Negative pressure. However now that the manifold pressure will be positive do I need to go infront of the blower intake? Cheers Leigh
  11. I heated up my copper manifold gasket with a MAP torch, seemed to work alright and made the gasket change colour aswell
  12. Looking forward to the dyno results :)
  13. Only just checked this, I had some mate. Should of sent me a message haha How the copper gasket go for ya?
  14. Awesome man, should go sweet
  15. Welded in my nut for the Air/Fuel ratio meter Annealed my copper manifold gasket Fuel system all sorted now, just need to fit off the fuel reg in the engine bay and efi filter Measured up and bought a v belt today also Turns out the local auto supplies shop gave me a 4k head gasket instead of a 5k one, so now have to wait to get that in before I can slap the head on and start it :) woo
  16. Yeah thats how it sits on the A/C bracket, Think I will make a custom one later on when I get the clear from the physio to use powertools etc (Stupid wrist) haha Reckon I bet it would get a little warm Stu. So keen to get it running!
  17. Got the blower mount somewhat sorted, just need to tidy up a few things....... Efi hoses installed tonight and cleaned out the fuel tank aswell Removed my twin webers and started to sus out where I can install my wideband sensor, Hopefully get my 4k head back from the machine shop this week aswell after its freshen up
  18. This is what I have so far, maybe abit more fine tuning and neaten a few things up!
  19. Just wondering what people have done when they efi there ke30 / 55 etc.. The stock pickup seems to have an OD of 6.5mm haven't taken an internal measurement yet. Was thinking it might be abit small as the efi house and pumps I'm using seem to have and ID of 8mm etc Cheers Leigh
  20. I'm mounting mine off the top holes, as my S/C inlet faces backwards so I need it up high to clear the dizzy. Ah Ke70 cool beans, at least I know what it is off now. Going to look at making a bracket to hold the top of the blower today!
  21. I had a look in your thread Stu but couldn't really see any clear pics. Would of been heaps easier if I got the mount that you had made! ha ha Will try and find some correct bolts and put it in tonight and Ill post up a photo of how it sits
  22. Thanks for the reply, I think mine is a ke55 bracket. I'm alomsted tempted to not use it and make a custom one, however its hard at the moment recovering from a busted wrist haha I can't get the blower to sit completely upright as the intake pipe hits the dizzy, The best postion I can get it at is about 15 dergrees leaning towards the drivers side. Hopefully this shouldn't affect it to much!
  23. Just wondering is anyone has some photos of a SC12 being mounted with a K motor AC bracket? I can't seem to find any detailed pics, have searched here, toymods and Club-k I'm currently doing this conversion to my 5k :) Cheers Leigh
  24. Yeah hopefully I get abit of power out of it, getting alot of help from K forced induction guru's Taz_rx (Si) & kickn5k (Stu) A few of my mates have told me I should just be putting a 13b or sr20. But I like the K motors :) haha
  25. Finished installing the Ecu today, Came up alright, Going to start modifing the Ac bracket for the blower this week..... see how that goes ;)
