  10. ive been driving manuals since i was 7 years old. and lately the new family chariots have been auto and was thinking may be it would work in the rolla as id be chasing straight line speed mostly
  11. has any one here picked an auto over a manual? general opinion ive gotten is autos Are better suited to motors with more torque and no so much to our beloved 4 babgers. was thinking a 2 or 3 speed. or any thing that may be suggested. my current engine is a 4age bp 16v ( plus crazzy idea of 7agte)
  12. yeah mate whole dash. mine is cracked and warped.ive already gone to the wreckers but the guy is a tool so wont let me just browse. i know its sounds like I'm an idiot for asking simple and stupid questions but I'm a customiser who wants to know every detail before i start

    7Age?

I'm not a member of TC so i can't see the thread. unless its just because I'm on the ibone. if it cranks that much hp i don't mind having a bigger budget. i may hold off buying the new kluger to spend a bit more on the c rolla

    7Age?

for what i want its good. soda blast rust repair panel work respray in same color. I'm wanting a "simple" engine that still has more mechanics than electricals as being in the country access to hi tech tuning equipment is limited

    7Age?

lets say i have a crazy idea of building a 7 agte. with beefed internals and major head work just because i hate having tyres. iv got 12g to spend with the refurb of the car 5 g to body and paint so still a bit spare change left over for a bit of engine work.

    4Age

what you find is unless the v8 is well setup and the driver is serious about having it on they usually suffer wheel slip when they lauch but the smaller rolli motor doesnt hav low down power to cause spinning so the car is rolling before the power really starts to hit. look at my car 18" chromies yet manages to eat most commodores or falcoons that every bogan seems to drive. also because they want to be hot shots as your rolling away and they are just spinning they panic and think oh shit they are gunna beat me so il power on some more but that just makes it worse for them. if you drove a falcodore would you really admit you got beat by a pink show pony?
  23. no its as stiff as john holmes only the rotation free play. do you know wher to get the oil seal at the back of the dizzy? did u mention a while ago you could do a rwd 4age loom?
  24. not too excesive how ever when mixed with ther rotor button it causes around 4 mm at the end of the rotor so whether or not this has an effect when arcing I'm not exactly sure
  25. doubting checking that my motor is in good nic before it gets pulled and i noticed that the dizzy shaft has a bit of play, twisting motion. some of it is comjng from an ill fitting rotor buttom but there is some on the shaft it self. ripped of the cam cover to find it not to constantly messhing with gear on the cam. is the way its supposed to be. ive got to replace the oil seal in the dizzy so want to do both at the same time.
