hey most of you have seen our car as it has been around for a while but its now its time for the a redo. i'm going to try and do it sex-spec (bling, flashy, bright, neck snapper sorta thing) other wise the stuff i've already got for it will go to waste i.e. $3000 ICE system, re trimmed aftermarket seats, custom boot install. What i am doing is getting rid of the 18 inch wheels and going for something smaller but still achieve the look that I'm going any suggestions. i don't mind if they have big dish or whatever.

i am looking at buying a ke30 sedan and an ae82 hatchback. the 82 is for spares for my car and the 30 is a possible project. What would they be worth: Condition: 82 is white had small frontal impact has only rooted the black plastic bumper, fornt windows wont wind up so wether damage on the seat, all standard body is straight all complete 30 is regd in Qld with 3months remaining starts drives ok very tidy and straight only two visible rust spots and fuel filler and in boot floor only one little spot. 130xxx on the clock doesnt blow smoke its the same guy selling both and is open to offers so i am trying for a offer on both.

i can't run diagnostics simply because I'm a country bumpkin and the closest haltech dealer is in lithgow (4 hrs away). decided to swallow my pride and open the wallet and get the performsnce shop to do the gaskets and a few other things for me then il be making a day trip to lithgow (hopefully)

been seeing a ke70 at my local dominos for a while decided to go in and ask. its got a 4agze turbo'd t50 with shortened R31 diff rollin on 14'' black spoke chrome dish mags very sleepy apart from wheels. with stock height, interior, and body work. almost fell over when SHE told me what it had

ok have done the leak test with start ya bastard with little or no change. also double checked the cooling system for air. still no change. KE70dave when you say spray around the manifold are meaning just where the gaskets are or the whole thing. this may sound stupid but just inside the throttle body there is two holes one larger one smaller. i put my finger over the smaller hole and it made the revs drop back a little. is that hole part of the water controlled unit that is under the throttle body?? i have blocked off this part but is there something i didnt know to do?

4age in ae 71. has been going good decided to replace inlet gaskets. now it wont idle. its sits between 1500 and 2000 RPM. as though the throttle is stuck on but it isnt. have checked everything have bought new gaskets to replace the ones ive just put in. have zip tied the ''powerband'' throttles shut as process of elimination. Have noticed fifth injector is wired but has always been that way is i got the car.. Any suggestions?? its a 16v with higher comp haltech ecu O2 censor never been wired. temp controlled throttle setup thing blocked trying to provide as much info to make it easier to diagnose
